* In ''Film/ShortCircuit 2'', [[BenevolentAI Johnny 5]] discovers that [[spoiler:[[FalseFriend his new friend Oscar]]]] was a criminal mastermind and confronts him about it, but gets cornered by his henchmen and then beaten to a robotic pulp for his troubles. Ironically [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman because he's a robot]], the film is able to show the full extent of just how ''[[FamilyUnfriendlyViolence brutally]]'' [[FamilyUnfriendlyViolence they tear the crap out of him]], not helped by the sprays of [[SymbolicBlood red battery fluid]] as he screams and begs for them to stop ''killing'' him.

** Pretty much anything Rorschach does.

* In ''Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit'', Eddie Valiant during the final battle suffers several beatings from Judge Doom [[spoiler: who, being a toon endowed with inhuman strength, tosses him around like a rag doll]].

* ''Film/Cherrybomb2009'': During the film's crescendo, Crilly beats Malachy to a bloody pulp. Luke then leaps to Malachy's defence [[spoiler: and beats Crilly over the head with a metal bar, ultimately killing him]].

* ''Film/Criminal2016'': Jericho does this first to the guys whose van he steals, later to Xavier's NumberTwo Elsa by beating her to death with a lamp base, and finally to one of Xavier's soldiers with a hammer after arriving at the airstrip where Xavier is with a kidnapped Emma and Jill.

* ''Film/Drive2011'': The Driver is a pragmatic and vicious fighter, killing one man by [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice stabbing him with a curtain rod]]. Then, while saying goodbye to his not-girlfriend, he kills a hitman with them in an elevator, going to even further extremes (his love is undoubtedly his BerserkButton). She is shown to be visibly freaked out by the killing.

** In the first film, ''Film/TheFastAndTheFurious2001'', Dom gives one to his rival, Johnny Tran, when the latter accuses him of being a snitch, causing him to fly into fury punching the Tran's face in, until security pull him off of him.

* ''Film/FutureWorld2018'': After the women he's enslaved are freed, they start beating Big Daddy Love Lord without mercy, indicating it's fatal.

** ''Film/TheAvengers2012'': Only two words -- [[MetronomicManMashing "Puny god."]]

*** A non-organic example: The ''Enterprise'' gets shot full of holes and turned into a smoking wreck by [[spoiler: the ''Vengeance'', a fellow Federation starship]]. ''Enterprise'' never got to fire a single shot back.

* ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerryTheFastAndTheFurry'': When J.T. Globwobbler tells Tom and Jerry that they have to redo their worldwide race because it ended in a tie, they beat the tar out of him and take the prize together.

* Johnny Weng beat the living crap out of Ah Jong's best friend Sidney in ''Film/TheKiller'' in a scene that was very much a TearJerker.

** The extended cut also adds one delivered by Nite Owl II when [[spoiler:Hollis Mason is murdered by some knot-tops.]] Remarkably, it's ''[[SociopathicHero Rorschach]]'' who calms him down and tells him to back off.
** Nite Owl ([[Film/{{Watchmen}} film only]]) delivers one to [[spoiler:Ozymandias]]. [[spoiler:Ozymandias]] kinda lets him do it and takes it gracefully, though.

* ''Westernanimation/{{Mulan}}'' has Shang doing his best against Shan Yu, but the enormous Hun beats him nearly unconscious, and would probably have killed him if Mulan didn't arrive to draw Shan Yu's wrath towards her instead.

* ''Film/UniversalSoldierRegeneration'': The main villain played by U.F.C. Champion Andre "The Pitbull" Arlovski pulls this out ''in spades''. Rapid-fire punches? Check. Rapid-fire punches TO THE FACE? Check. Rapid-fire punches to the face that may be complemented with a protract-able blade from the lower arm upwards? Check.
* In ''Film/TheWarriors'', the first 10 minutes of the film shows a guy getting ''elbowed'' to death.

* ''Film/OneHundredFeet'' contains a fatal beatdown of the protagonist's {{Love Interest|s}} by her husband's ghost. Towards the end, the ghost's face becomes visible because it's been headbutting the guy so hard that it's gotten drenched in his blood.
* Although we don't see much of it, the main character in ''Film/TwentyOne'' gets caught counting cards by security chief Williams and suffers a pretty convincing beating while tied to a chair. He also hints that he'll "put a hammer to the side of his face, then kill him", as honest as a sinner on trial, if he ever gets catches him again.
* Jim in ''Film/TwentyEightDaysLater'' delivers this onto one of the soldiers that held him and his friends captive and attempted to rape his love interest, complete with dramatic music, head-smashing, and eye-gouging. He lets him have it.
* Creator/NicolasCage gives a self-traumatizing beating to one of the men responsible for creating the snuff film in ''Film/EightMM'', PistolWhipping the bastard to death.
* In one point in ''Film/AlienResurrection'', Purvis delivers one to Dr. Wren before killing him with a chestburster.
* In ''Film/ApocalypseNow'', Willard delivers one to Kurtz while using a [[MacheteMayhem machete]]. All set to the tune of Music/TheDoors' song "The End".
* Film/AmericanHistoryX has what is perhaps the ultimate textbook case, as well as one of the most brutal ones.
* ''Film/{{The Avengers|2012}}'' -- Only two words: [[MetronomicManMashing "Puny god."]]
* Tony appears to deliver one of these to Thanos in ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar''. The end result is [[spoiler: [[NoSell a minuscule cut on Thanos's face]]. Thanos smiles, wipes off a single drop of blood, and turns the fight around, proceeding to beat the ever-living ''shit'' out of Tony]].
* ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' has a much more dynamic example, as [[spoiler: Wanda, still pissed at Vision's death, uses her telekinesis to utterly clean Thanos' clock. The only thing that stops her from ending him right there is Thanos calling in an orbital strike on his position. If he hadn't done that, it's heavily implied based on her hand movements that she would have literally ''ripped him limb from limb.'']]
* In the climax of ''Film/Batman1989'', Franchise/{{Batman}} delivers a brutal one to Comicbook/TheJoker.

* In one of the final scenes in ''Film/{{Casino}}'', Nicky Santoro (Creator/JoePesci) and his brother Dominick set up a meeting in a cornfield after things have calmed down with the Mafia. Unfortunately, the bosses are still upset about the role Nicky played in the collapse of their Vegas operation; so, Nicky and Dom are met by a gang of thugs who proceed to beat Dominick to a bloody pulp while making Nicky watch, and toss him into a freshly-dug grave. They then proceed to do the same thing (and worse -- at one point, it looks like they cave Nicky's skull in) before tossing him into the same grave ''[[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill and burying them alive]]''.
* ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier'': After stopping Project Insight, Steve drops his shield into the water below, resolutely telling his opponent, [[spoiler:Bucky,]] now the Winter Soldier, that he won't fight him -- not anymore. The Winter Soldier, his memory returning and his mental state on the fritz, goes into VillainousBreakdown mode, confounded by such an action done on the basis of a friendship that he has no memory of. He then proceeds to beat the crap out of an unresisting Steve, shouting that Steve is his mission while doing so.

** Which his buddy puts the kibosh on when he gets hold of Delmar's shotgun. ''[[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome "Season's over, ASSHOLE!!"]]''

* ''Film/Criminal2016'': Jericho does this first to the guys whose van he steals, and later he does this to Xavier’s number one, Elsa, by beating her to death with a lamp base and later does this again using a hammer to one of Xavier’s soldiers after arriving at the airstrip where Xavier is with a kidnapped Emma and Jill.
* In ''Film/TheDarkKnight'', while we know he won't ever actually ''kill'' Batman, the Joker makes clear in their final confrontation he's also not going to hold back until Batman is down for good ([[NothingUpMySleeve or so he thinks]]). The growls from the Joker while he [[SpamAttack attacks Batman with a crow bar]] are chilling.

** In the 1989 film directed by Creator/TimBurton Batman got his ass handed to him rather badly by a ScaryBlackMan who looked like Ray Charles. And then Batman killed him.
*** Before sending him to his DisneyVillainDeath not long after, Batman also beats the Joker to a pulp. And in a cathedral belfry no less.

* At the end of the Creator/ChuckNorris movie ''Film/TheDeltaForce'', Scott [=McCoy=] delivers one to the BigBad.

Later in the film, the martial arts specialist on Shaw's team manages [[CurbStompBattle effortlessly beat-up]] Roman and Han, ''and'' a few London Police officers right before them.

** In ''Film/{{Godzilla 2014}}'', the M.U.T.O.s give Godzilla one when they double-teamed him, they gave him such a pounding that he fell over unconscious and they continued to beat on him some more. Prior to that, Godzilla was curbstomping each MUTO whenever they were going one on one.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheGreatMouseDetective'': Ratigan does this to Basil following his VillainousBreakdown. He's ''really'' trying to kill him. It adds to the visceral horror in that Ratigan is [[FamilyUnfriendlyViolence using claws, and actually drawing blood!]]

* ''Film/HangmansKnot'': Following Bainter's (Creator/LeeMarvin) AttemptedRape of Molly, there is brutal fistfight between him and Major Stewart (Creator/RandolphScott) with not a single word exchanged.

* In ''Film/TheKarateKid'' Daniel gets several of these from the Cobra Kais, the worst being on Halloween. It gets so bad that [[EvenEvilHasStandards Bobby tells his friends they are going too far and they need to stop the attack]].

* ''Film/OnDangerousGround'': Due to censorship at the time(it was 1952), we get GoryDiscretionShot scenes when cop Jim Wilson [[PoliceBrutality beats up crooks and suspects]], but it's implied that he almost kills them.
* In ''WesternAnimation/TheLionKingIISimbasPride'', during [[spoiler:Zira's first attack on Simba]], several lions leap on him, maul him, knock him down a cliff, and then follow after him and maul him further. [[spoiler:He survives, but he ends up collapsing from exhaustion after barely escaping.]]

* ''Mission: Impossible''

* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Moana}}'', Tamatoa delivers one of these to Maui, all while singing a song about how fabulous he is.
* Creator/JackieChan ends up on the receiving end of this in the movie ''Mr. Nice Guy''. He does end up getting his payback through the employment of a very large vehicle (at that time in Chan's movies, in lieu of having a final climactic showdown, Chan would just get in a very large vehicle and drive a hole through the bad guy's base.)

Kane gets up and proceeds to deliver an epic, murderous unarmed beatdown to all the biker scum present]].
* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Nocturna}}'', the [[spoiler:[[TheBigGuy Cat Shepherd]]'s]] confrontation with the [[LivingShadow Shadow]]. It flings him around like a rag doll, all while the [[spoiler: Cat Shepherd is [[YouShallNotPass barring the way to Tim and the North Star]], urging and shouting encouragement to Tim to get over his fear]]. The Shadow is only stopped when Murray and Tobermory manage to run by and distract it with Murray's light, whereupon the [[spoiler:Cat Shepherd proceeds to [[DisneyDeath (seemingly) die]]]].

* Jackie Chan gets to dish out a few of his own during the climax of ''Police Story'', even giving a ShoutOut to Creator/BruceLee's famous "shaking fist" pose after whaling on the BigBad's abs.

* Officer Alex Murphy was on the verge of apprehending some miscreants in the original ''Film/RoboCop1987'', when he was ambushed and shot. His bullet-proof vest withstood the impact of the bullet, and so [[NoKillLikeOverkill the villains laid into him with bullets and shotgun blasts in a two-minute torture session; they blew off his hand and eventually the back of his head]]. What remained of him was turned into Robocop. To rub things in further, Robocop himself is subjected to a similar bout of prolonged gunfire later in the film, and is almost killed, but this time at the hands of his former colleagues in the police force.
* In ''[[Film/{{Robocop2}} Robocop 2]]'', Robocop is ripped apart and almost killed by Cain and his gang.

* In ''[[Film/{{Sartana}} Light The Fuse... Sartana Is Coming]]'', the titular character receives a brutal beatdown, but manages to recover from it later.
* In ''Film/SavagesCrossing'' TheGunslinger Mory batters SerialKiller Phil unconscious and has to be stopped from killing him.
* In ''Film/SawII'', Jigsaw, with cancerous brain trauma, takes a hard earned beating from Donnie Wahlberg.
* ''Film/TheShawshankRedemption'' features several of them, including the guards beating up an emotionally overwhelmed inmate who complained that he was not supposed to be there, ([[spoiler: said guard then left the inmate to die in the infirmary]]) and The Sisters routinely beating up Andy, and the guards beating up Bogs ([[KickTheSonOfABitch one of The Sisters]]) so severely he ended up crippled for life. [[FridgeHorror And that's just counting the ones shown on-screen.]] Red has a way of understating this in his monotone voiceover narration, which perhaps drives home the horror even more; this kind of thing is a commonplace occurrence:

* This happens to Sefton, a World War II POW in ''Film/{{Stalag 17}}''. The people who beat him were his fellow prisoners, who suspected him of collaborating with the Germans. This action spurs Sefton towards finding the ''real'' collaborator, whom he glumly notes, probably "beat him the hardest."
* In the ''{{Franchise/Stargate|Verse}}'' film ''Film/StargateTheArkOfTruth'', Mitchell gets one of these from [[spoiler:the Replicator Merrick]]. Intercut with scenes of [[spoiler:the Priors torturing Vala and Daniel]] and of [[spoiler:Teal'c trying to get to Celestius with a hole in his back]] to up the violence level.

* In later ''Film/{{Transformers}}'' movies, this is basically Optimus Prime's MO.

* ''Film/{{United 93}}'''s climactic end begins with a ZergRush of passengers surging forward towards the cockpit. The first terrorist to go down is pretty thoroughly {{Curb Stomp|Battle}}ed and beaten to death with a fire extinguisher.
* ''Film/UniversalSoldierRegeneration''; The main villain played by U.F.C. Champion Andre "The Pitbull" Arlovski pulls this out IN SPADES. Rapid-fire punches? Check. Rapid-fire punches TO THE FACE? ** The film expanded the Comedian's two page fight into a four minute borderline {{Gorn}} beatdown. Not only did the Comedian fail to land a ''single hit'', but it was set to Nat King Cole's rendition of "[[SoundtrackDissonance Unforgettable]]."

* ''WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph'': Ralph is on the receiving end of one of these from a cy-bug morphed King Candy and it looks like it's all over as Ralph is forced to watch the demise of Sugar Rush until he gets a HeroicSecondWind and breaks free intending to sacrifice himself, knowing he can't beat King Candy in hand to hand combat.
* The Super Mario Bros. Movie: Utterly furious at Mario for ruining his wedding and supposedly wooing over Peach, Bowser flies into a bizarre rage as he absolutely beats the plumber to a bloody pulp. From punching him through and attempting to crush him with cars to breathing fire at him, he stops at absolutely nothing to make sure he suffers a horrible death while ranting over how he cost him his one chance at happiness. It culminates in Bowser whacking Mario into a pizzeria with his tail and belittling the poor guy that almost causes him to give up. Even when Peach, Donkey Kong and Toad step in to help, he wipes the floor with all of them and would have succeeded in killing DK had it not been for Mario gaining a second wind to keep fighting.
