* Eiken is this in-universe for pretty much every Looper, due to how it's set up as a crash-recovery loop. No pocket and no loop-powers. The mind crushing boredom is absolute AGONY for Loopers, and will avoid it at all costs.

Unfortunately, Naruto never told Kakashi about Tobi . * The Mega Pony Loop is surprisingly (and literally) dark when it gets to the Ra Moon storyline. Celestia's powers are disabled, Here, Ra Moon's power causes everpresent darkness to cover the skies. Everypony's magic is dramatically weakened, which among other things causes Cloudsdale to fall apart. Every Alicorn present is instantly knocked out, and while the Loopers manage to wake up, Cadance and Celestia don't. !!Miscellaneous Loops

to:

* The Molestia Loop. Sleipnir's description of it tells us all we need to know. Everyone is a demented sex fiend, and Molestia is seen as the absolute epitome of perfection for this world. And then Twilight is considered the most desirable thing alive by every living being in Equestria. Including her family. So Sleipnir goes into the Loop himself, and along with Twilight wades into Tartarus, locks the door behind them, and annihilates the world rather than stay there one hour more.

* The Crash, already disturbing in its effects and implications, gets expanded on in the last failed Loop. It starts off dark and goes from there. Dr. Wily doesn't show up, but someone's producing various robots labelled "number-(designation)", ultimately reaching Models X and Z, all but outright stated to be X and Zero themselves, who abduct the Anchor from the Loop That Never Was. After defeating Model V (also known as Vile), Rock, Roll and Blues are knocked out and abducted. And then they meet the mastermind behind everything so far: Dr. Wily, Sigma, Weil, and Dr. Albert, all apparently merged into one being, with the thing that Blues encounter beforehand at the wheel. And it knows about the Loops, and it wants to spread. And now that it has the Loopers, it's going to do just that, with a creepy-ass machine of some king that all four Anchors happen to be attached to. But something goes hideously wrong, and the last thing Blues can recall before everything goes dark is reality itself screaming. And then? Crash.

!!The Setting in General

!!The MLP Loops
* Every single damn thing about the Slavequestria Loop. Imagine Equestria, that lovely sunny land of ponies, built on institutionalised slavery. Even Princess Celestia allows and approves this, having bought Twilight Sparkle when she was a child! And the slaves are branded with a fake cutie mark designed to look like hers, only it's designed to dampen their will, and stop them from getting their own cutie mark to boot.
** Even worse is the mere hint as what happened to Cadance. She's Sombra's wife. The fact that Cadance refuses to tell Twilight what happened speaks volumes.

!!The Mega Man Loops
* The attempts by Hephaestus to get the universe Looping can get incredibly unsettling, but worst of all is the one when Roll is made the Anchor. Her brother goes off to fight Wily, same as usual, and then disappears without a trace. Some time later, Wily reappears, and reveals he's killed Rock and put his remains on display.
* The thing that apparently possesses Dr. Light in one of Blues' failed Loops. We never learn exactly what it is, but it's pretty clear whatever it is, it's not supposed to exist. And by the time Blues realises he's in danger, it's too late. It's practically a relief when the Loop fails seconds later, otherwise god only knows what would've been done to him.
* Waltz. Sweet mother of mercy, Waltz. Imagine a dangerous, unstable version of Roll. Now give her the ability to copy her enemies' weapons just by being near them. Then give her the ability to Loop. She's completely insane and ruthless, willing to kill anyone she sees, and near-impossible to keep down.
** Even worse is the hint that she's not completely crazy, but that this fact just makes her angrier.
