The mooks are rid of their human guises and have their skin and faces ripped right off. While their skin and face are ripped off, it goes one-step further by having cables spew out from its mouth and wrap around its body, then becoming the monster the Rider has to defeat. Thank god that whatever does this to a machine can't be done on humans.
