* Prince Sidon from VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild is practically the nicest person Link will ever meet. Sidon treats Link with the utmost respect for him and stands up for him when the elder Zoras don't want him around. Sidon also makes sure Link is doing alright as he makes his way to Zora's Domain and believes in his abilities that would help save the Zora people. Sidon also helps Link directly when combatting the divine beat so Link can get inside. After Link saves Zora's Domain, Sidon is more than happy to express his gratefulness to Link. He does all this without ever asking for anything in return.

** Detective Dick Gumshoe from practically any game he's in. He is always willing to help out anyone despite the abuse both verbal and physical he takes whenever he's around. He also has plenty of Big Damn Heroes moments where, at most times, he ends up helping out Phoenix Wright who is supposed to be the enemy. Not to mention as revealed in Ace Attorney Investigations, Gumshoe was willing to let himself be the prime suspect in a murder just to protect a promise of a young girl that he just met. Now THAT'S being nice!
** Will Powers is definitely this. The guy may have a rough appearance, but he is a total sweetheart and a Gentle Giant. Hell, he hides himself in a costume to prevent the children from being disappointed from seeing his face.
** Klavier Gavin from Apollo Justice (and Dual Destinies) is definitely the nicest prosecutor in the series. He is on good terms with Apollo outside of court and in court, he even indirectly helps Apollo!

** Fuuka Yamagishi of VideoGame/Persona 3. When Natsuki, one of the school bullies, locks her in the school during the Dark Hour, which endangers Fuuka's life since she's a Persona user and is now trapped within Tartarus, Fuuka protects Natsuki when she ends up in danger, and not only forgives her, but also befriends her.
** Also The Female Protagonist from VideoGame/Persona 3 Portable. While both she and the male lead can help out so many strangers, her own dialogue comes across as being more genuinely cheerful and helpful, whereas the Male Protagonist's dialogue is a bit more dour.

** One of the War Table missions involves arranging a political marriage between two young nobles even though the girl is in love with someone else. While Josephine's and Leliana's reactions boil down to "sad but it must be done," Cullen instead offers to help the girl and her sweetheart elope, politics be damned.
** Another early War Table mission involves a very cranky old nobleman demanding the Inquisition send troops to force refugees off his lands--elves and apostates among them. Josephine suggests a polite refusal. Leliana, in a bizarrely out-of-character moment, suggests using spies to harass them off his land. Cullen will offer patrols to help the refugees (elves, apostates, and all), not the noble. If Cullen is chosen, the noble is outraged at the Inquisition sending food and blankets to the "filthy savages" instead of driving them off like any civilized army would do.
** He asks Josephine to collect funds to help the relatives of those who died at , and has a moment with Leliana in which they both gently express their sorrow that the tragedy happened. Despite their differing views and responsibilities, it's intimated that he greatly respects and cares about both of his fellow council members.
** He seems to generally get along with everyone, even if he would have reasons to want to avoid them. One of Cole's lines implies that Cullen sometimes tells him jokes, and he has no objection to participating in the card game even if Cole is there (and Cole being what he is, Cullen's tolerance is pretty impressive). He also becomes good friends with Dorian, a mage from Tevinter, to the point where their chess game is the only time Cullen seems to actually relax.

** By Inquisition, Cullen has very much become one, having let go of his past grudge against mages and is completely loyal even to a mage Inquisitor and good friends with Dorian. Fittingly enough, the third game also made him a romance option, much to his fanbase's delight.
*** How much Cullen's changed is a source of contention among fans, as there are times where he still displays prejudice against mages and at one point actually defends Meredith, claiming her methods were harsh, but she kept people safe. Much like when Solas romances a Dalish Inquisitor, there are definite shades of "you're the good exception to your kind" when Cullen romances a mage.
