Deleting misused as agreed over on the cleanup thread, as Narm is supposed to be for unintentionally funny moments. Also commenting out one that could potentially fit, but needs more context to show it isn't just Fridge Logic.

* In regards to the Knights of Hanoi:
** Any viewer who is even remotely familiar with UsefulNotes/{{Vietnam}} might have a hard time taking the name Knights of Hanoi seriously[[note]]The Knights of Hanoi are named after the Towers of Hanoi, which in turn were named after Vietnam's capital city Hanoi[[/note]].
** Revolver certainly didn't help his cause get taken any more seriously when he starts ranting to Playmaker about how the internet and social media will be the downfall of society.
** At the end of Episode 24, Baira and Faust defeat all 1000 AI duelists on their own in 30 seconds time, which comes out to each of them defeating 16.6667 AI duelists (or to round it up, 17 AI duelists) '''per second'''. This is intended to make them look badass, but the whole thing is just ridiculous, especially since they're outed by Blue Angel and Playmaker shortly after, in a Duel that clearly takes more than a few minutes.
** Spectre's backstory. [[spoiler:He was abandoned as a baby in a tree in the mountain behind an orphanage, instead of at the orphanage itself, and the tree itself bent its branches to protect him from wolves. In addition, Spectre remembers all this from when he was a baby. Finally, the thing that turned Spectre against society was not being captured and tortured in the Lost Incident, which he enjoyed, but rather discovering that while he was gone the tree that had protected him had been cut down. Note that no other trees in the area were touched.]]
** When Revolver dueled Ghost Girl, he used an unseen trap card to destroy all of her monsters and win the duel. Then in his duel with Go Onizuka, he activates that same trap card, this time revealing that it is in fact, [[spoiler:Mirror Force]]. As in, one of the most basic battle traps in the game that everyone and their mother knows about. This reveal is treated with the kind of awe and reverence on par with the Egyptian God Cards.
** Revolver's poses every time he duels is, like Reiji, [[https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DWHenMUX4Ac5hGF?format=jpg&name=large straight]] [[https://i.imgur.com/rWvFSPa.jpg out of]] [[Franchise/JojosBizarreAdventure Jojo]]. Hell, everything he does is incredibly memetic to the point he's a walking FountainOfMemes.
* Go's dub name is GORE, his real name being George Gore. Meanwhile, Takeru Homura's dub name is ''Theodore Hamilton''.
* Some people make fun of Go's first turn move in episode 81. It's because[[spoiler: they expect Go to make a complicated first turn judging by him saying he's going all out and activating his Brain Hack immediately. Instead, he only set one monster card and end the turn.[[note]]The set card later turns out to give trouble to Playmaker, but it's still ridiculous nonetheless.[[/note]]]]
* The following episode includes one of the rare appearances of Firewall Dragon (and its final one before the card was banned in both territories), but the circumstances for its summoning are laughably forced; Go uses an effect to make his monsters immune to the effects of Link-3 or lower monsters, this forcing Playmaker to summon Firewall Dragon. It was also the episode where its Xyz counterpart, Firewall eXceed Dragon debuted, and as its specific effect works best when paired with Firewall Dragon, it naturally would have had to appear.
* In Season 3, [[spoiler: Ai does a FaceHeelTurn and proceeds to wipe out every single secondary character.]] In the battle between Blue Maiden and Akira, he could have easily crashed the plane and kill everyone on board, but the MoralEventHorizon in the eyes of his former allies? [[spoiler:''Activating Judgement Arrows''. While this symbolizes him joining Lightning's crusade, he did nastier things before like putting Queen in a coma,]] which makes this come off as ridiculous.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJIGAjEg4gs "Zarc." "WHAT?!"]] The face-off between Zarc and the Professor was ''probably'' meant to be a dramatic confrontation, but the way Zarc sounds half annoyed and half offended when the Professor addresses him just makes it hilarious instead.

* In the sequel-movie, "Dark Side Of Dimensions", the scene in the Pharaoh's Tomb, where Diva shows up and proceeds to use the power of Prana's Mind to banish everyone to another dimension is full of this. Especially their reaction when the magic powers don't work, because ''Kaiba's new Duel-Disk is amplifying his '''ego''', which negates the power of Prana's Mind''. The entire scene just feels like it was written by Creator/LittleKuriboh.

* For some reason, the dub choose to give Dark Yugi regular Yugi's voice as his inner voice. The result is the cool Dark Yugi thinking in an extremely boyish voice, ruining the tension every single time. Made worse by the fact that we usually only hear his thinking during tense moments. It's even more ridiculous in dubs that had regular Yugi sound like a preteen.

The fact that viewers do not even get to see the actual duel (it's implied that Kachidoki [[OneHitKill OTK's]] Yaiba), but are just shown shots of Kachidoki beating the ever-living daylights out of Yaiba and causing his Life to hit 0 can make a person go, "Well, that happened."
