He rose to prominence in the underground Grime music scene through his Wicked Skengman series of freestyles over classic grime beats. He was born in Croydon,London and grew up in South Norwood alongside his Ghanaian mother, younger brother and two sisters. His household wasn’t particularly musical, though he liked music.
