* PopStarComposer - Jonny Greenwood, who has scored ''Bodysong'', ''ThereWillBeBlood'', and ''NorwegianWood''. Funnily enough, his compositions sound nothing like Radiohead.

* WastedSong - Some of their best songs were never even included on an album and relegated to b-sides. "Talk Show Host" is the most well-known of these songs, and pretty much all of the Amnesiac b-sides have become fan favorites. I

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotPolitical - Despite the overtones of a title like ''Hail To The Thief'', the band denies it refers to the 2000 presidential election. However, they ''did'' admit to the album being about the rise of the far right, among other things. Thom Yorke claims the title is a reference to a slogan that became popular after the 1888 US presidential election, which ended with an outcome similar to the 2000 election.
** Of course, Thom himself has [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nHK9iqdoDo#t=5m19s stated otherwise]], leaving things a little ambiguous.
** "Karma Police" gets this treatment sometimes, with its somewhat controversial lyrics ([[ThoseWackyNazis "arrest this girl, her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill"]]).

** "Feral" counts as well.
* {{Music/Instrumentals}} - "Treefingers", "Hunting Bears", and ''technically'' "Fitter Happier", since all the singing is actually done by [[EverythingIsAnInstrument a computer]].

** "Feral" is almost an instrumental. Thom Yorke certainly doesn't seem to be singing any real words, at least.

* LargeHam - Despite the subtlety and darkness of most Radiohead songs, Thom enjoys indulging himself in hamminess occasionally, particularly in "Bangers + Mash" and live performances of "Idioteque."
** In a rather less RuleOfFun-based example, [[OldShame early performances]] tended to be rather over the top. One time Thom started randomly screaming and then jumped in a pool.

** Also "These Are My Twisted Words", "Paranoid Android", "The National Anthem", and "How to Disappear Completely". "Cuttooth" was apparently original much longer but was shortened.

* HeManWomanHater - "Nude" is a TakeThat at one.

** Kid A, which was [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GGI8dKq8fA&feature=related#t=0m26s apparently created by Jonny on the piano while Thom talked through what he was playing]] (and used vocal distortion to make the song a bit [[UncannyValley creepier]]. There's definite Pied Piper imagery in the song and futuristic elements.
