"Thriller" in 2015 has much less blood, and although Jonathan does have visible wounds on his face, and blood coming out of his mouth at a few points, he's lit from behind, so it's not very clear most of the time. [[Film/{{Ghostbusters}} "Ghostbusters"]], 2016's Halloween cover, is completely devoid of blood and gore in favor a more traditional music video. 2017's covers of "Monster Mash" and "Spooky Scary Skeleton" are as cheesy as the original songs.
