"Horses" is a 1975 album by Music/PattiSmith. It's her most famous and iconic album and one of the most influential albums of TheSeventies. The equally famous album cover photo was shot by her then boyfriend Creator/RobertMapplethorpe and the record itself was produced by Music/JohnCale.

In 2009 it was preserved by the NationalRecordingRegistry for being "culturally, historically and aesthetically significant".
