Despite a polarising reaction in the contemporary music press and rather limited commercial sales, Cardiacs have had a fairly significant impact on other musical acts, being cited as an influence by acts as diverse as Music/{{Radiohead}}, Music/FaithNoMore, and Music/{{Blur}}.
