* ''MoralEventHorizon/PowerRangers''

* ''Franchise/PowerRangers'':
** ''Series/PowerRangersSamurai'': In the episode "Trading Places" the MonsterOfTheWeek Switchbeast goes around city and turns innocent people into various objects. The point of this plan is that unsuspecting humans will get rid of those objects, unaware that there are human souls in them. This would have resulted in a lot of people being ''killed'' (including Rangers, Bulk and Spike) if Mike and Emily didn't defeat Switchbeast. That was the entire point of Switchbeast's plan: to have as many innocent people turned into objects and would have been disposed and destroyed by unsuspecting humans. Usually Nighloks want to make misery, but this time they wanted to ''kill'' innocent people.
*** In the eyes of Dayu, BigBad Master Xandred crosses this when he sets her harmonium ([[spoiler:which was a gift by Deker, when they were married and it was LAST remnant of her love for Deker, who was cursed and lost his memory of her]]) on fire and attempted to have her memory erased. She even says "I knew you were evil, but this!"
*** He ''really'' crosses it by [[spoiler:killing and [[DevourTheDragon absorbing her]] after she revived him.]]
** Serrator crossed it 200 years ago by [[spoiler:making a DealWithTheDevil with Dayu, turning Deker into a half Nighlok and taking his memories, not telling her that until she's already made the deal.]] The more the two of them suffer, until finally [[spoiler: meeting their tragic ends]], the more you'll consider Serrator the most heartless villain in the history of ''a show whose villains often pride themselves on how evil they are.'' If he didn't cross it then, he most certainly did with his endgame. [[spoiler:He wanted to split open the earth, spilling the Netherworld onto Earth, likely causing untold death and destruction all for the sake of becoming powerful enough to rule both worlds.]] Even ''the other Nighloks'' considered it going too far (there was a risk that both worlds would be annihilated.)
** ''[[Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue Lightspeed Rescue]]''[='=]s Queen Bansheera does truly horrible things. She crosses the line when Olympius, her son, ends up stuck in the local equivalent of Hell; she opts to ''leave him there'' for being useless enough to get stuck there in the first place, and seems to take perverse pleasure in doing it, too.
** Venjix from ''Series/PowerRangersRPM'' crosses this territory when he '''''DESTROYS 99% OF HUMANITY'''''. Also when [[spoiler:he gains control of all the hybrids he experimented and hid in Corinth]] there are ''children'' among them and they don't even look a year over ten. ''Everything'' Venjix does qualifies for this trope.
*** While they are not as bad as Venjix, [[spoiler:Alphabet Soup]] crosses the line at some point, either it is when [[spoiler:kept super intelligent people, including children, imprisoned for their entire lives under the belief they've got some horrible illness that'll kill them if they step foot outside]], or when [[spoiler:they ''allowed Venjix to escape'' by not letting Dr. K install the firewall to stop the virus from spreading]] or finally when they [[spoiler:tried to ''assassinate Dr. K'' to cover up Venjix's origins]].
** ''Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy''[='s=] Final BigBad Trakeena crossed it when she attempted to attack Terra Venture with Stingwinger '''suicide bombers'''. ''And'' she [[SinkTheLifeBoats targeted the escape pods]], too. (TheDragon, a NobleDemon even more so than Diabolico, and who trained her, tried to stop her because his MoralityPet child friend was on one. She killed him, with him refusing to resist out of loyalty.)

** Just as bad (or possibly worse), Maria is a RichBitch who likes the fact that she has control over all her classmates. But when Seira comes into the picture, she takes every effort to make her life miserable for easily stealing away her popularity. When Seira loses her fortune, she delights in making Seira grovel on the ground, donating huge amounts of money to the school and thus gaining enough power to make Seira her own personal [[strike: slave]] maid. She would also purposely spill soup on Seira and throw tomatoes at her when Seira was already at the [[BreakTheCutie lowest point of her life]]. And in a heartwrenching HopeSpot for Seira, Maria makes her believe that there was a slimmest chance that Seira could be [[RomeoAndJuliet Juliet]], something Seira has dreamed of for the longest time. Maria gets to be Juliet and forces Seira to work extra hours in the kitchen, not allowing her a chance to even be in the play.

'''Colby''': I'm just saying, I've seen what happens when you cross certain lines. It can be really hard to find your way back.

** For many fans, Buffy stopped being a hero and became merely a "protagonist" in "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS3E21GraduationDayPart1 Graduation Day Part 1]]" when she decided to feed another human being -- Faith -- to a vampire just because she wanted her dying boyfriend back. While many acknowledge that Faith had, at that point, done many reprehensible things and might have deserved to be killed, the fact that Buffy was going to do it by '''''feeding her to a vampire''''', thus betraying her calling as the protector of humanity against such monsters, was the part that they simply could not swallow.

** Buffy, if she didn't do it with her earlier actions in season 3, then it was because of her actions in "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS7E15GetItDone Get It Done]]" caused some fans to be so disgusted that she was beyond redemption. Such a view is pretty universal in regards to [[TheScrappy Kennedy]] for the same reasons, who is utterly loathed by pretty much all of the fanbase, and considered completely irredeemable.

The formula is so strong it causes the person he injects with it in his first appearance to die on the spot. Not fifteen minutes later, he blows up an entire restaurant just to kill Oliver.
** Despite his actions being defendable at first due to his sense of honor, everything he does after learning of Oliver’s survival from their duel is reprehensible, from [[spoiler:murdering innocents every day until Oliver agrees to become his heir, including his sister Thea, indoctrinating him forcibly into the League of Assassins through a ritual that included forcing Oliver to believe he was killing his friend John Diggle, marrying him to Nyssa against both of their wishes, and finally deciding to destroy Starling City with a virus]]. Despite all of that, Oliver later refers to him as honorable to Talia.

* Arrow: Almost every main villain crosses the line at least once at some point.
** In the first appearance of the series’s first truly evil character, The Count, injects a dealer with an overdose of Vertigo just because he failed to kill the Arrow. He makes it obvious that he enjoys the subsequent suffering his drug causes as he hands the dealer a gun, offering him the choice between his life and the Count’s. The pain is so great that he chooses to kill himself as the Count laughs.
** Helena Bertenelli/The Huntress is given multiple chances to redeem herself, but in her final crossing moment she yells that Oliver betrayed her and began fighting him. Any remaining doubt is squashed when she paralyzes Makenna Hall, forcing her to retire from the police force.
** Malcolm Merlyn/The Dark Archer spends an entire season building up to a crossing. In his Merlyn persona, [[spoiler:he kidnaps Walter, threatens Thea’s life, and mentions repeatedly that he killed Robert to force Moira to stay in line. The tension boils to the point that Moira turns to the Chinese Triad to assassinate him.]] As the Dark Archer (even if his dual identity is kept seperate at first), he beats Oliver to near death in their first encounter, then initiates the Undertaking, a manmade earthquake that hit the Glades and killed 503 people, [[spoiler:including his son Tommy]]. Later, after returning from faking his death, he [[spoiler:forces his daughter Thea to murder Sara Lance while she’s drugged to force Oliver to confront Ra’s al Ghul]] and later allied with [[spoiler:Damien Darhk]].

* ''Series/KitchenNightmares'' featured at least 2 unforgettable moments of line-crossing:
** The owners of the ''Burger Kitchen'' stole their son's inheritence to fund their restaurant.
** Samy and Amy, the owners of ''Amy's Baking Company'' left the line behind long ago with the revelation that they were stealing the tips left for the servers and were keeping them for themselves.

** Victor, despite having been a sympathetic AntiVillain in the other seasons, crossed this when he set up a ''guillotine'' to stop the students from getting into the secret room. He tested it by having it ''cut a dictionary in half''. And he was very pleased with this. Of course, he was a [[TheSoulless sinner]] at this time, so it does make a bit of sense. But it's the first time he's ever shown willingness to murder the students, a jarring change from his former EvenEvilHasStandards trait.

Characters can only cross the MEH once

* In ''Series/KickinIt'', The Black Dragons, the main antagonists of the series, have crossed the line multiple times
** Sensei Ty has crossed it in the past, continuously blaming Rudy for causing him to fall even though it was the Grandmaster who tooted.
** In ''Wrath of Swan'', Frank crosses it when he has Brody bring Kim to Swan Cotillion, and then fires gravy on to Jack and Kim
** Sensei Ty crosses the line again in ''Kickin It on Our Own'', by being brutal to the Wasabi Warriors, taking away Jack and Kim's black belts (he obviously had no right to do that), and forcing Eddie and Milton to drink heavy amounts of water to fight for their right to use the rest room. None of this grants Sensei Ty any points whatsoever.
