** Kasumi and her friend Tanuma are fans of the anime ''[=OrePotato=]'', which is about a girl who gets into a romantic relationship with her big brother. It's probably a reference to ''LightNovel/{{Oreimo}}'' (and a joke about how blind Kasumi is to her own feelings towards Takamiya). Coincidentally, "imo" is a Japanese word for "potato."

* OneHeadTaller: Kagari is at least one head taller than anyone in the school, including Takamiya (as best seen in chapter 12). It's not quite as extreme in the anime, but she's still significantly taller and more imposing than her "princess."

* DistractedByTheSexy: Kagari attempts to help Takamiya concentrate to help him summon a magical creature. Unfortunately, he can't do it because she's pressing up from behind him with her [[BuxomIsBetter large chest]].

* EverythingsBetterWithLlamas: A trio of luckless Tower Witches go around with a llama, even complaining when a restaurant refuses to seat it in spite of them allowing pets. It also tends to get tied up when they're captured.

** Kasumi took it UpToEleven after being double teamed by Tanpopo and Rin, she makes her familiar grow so big that its head touches the clouds and one stomp takes them both out. She tops even that with Rinon's encouragement in chapter 32; her familiar's height reaches into [[spoiler: low earth orbit]]!

* BatheHerAndBringHerToMe: [[spoiler:After Kagoyu kidnaps Honoka, she has him take a bath to "cleanse the outside of his vessel" before their wedding ceremony. Made even more disturbing when Kagoyu joins him in the bath to wash his back.]]

* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: There are quite a few characters in this show. And although only a handful of them get much character development, they are at least distinct enough visually with their different looks, hairstyle, and outfits that viewers shouldn't confuse them.

** The ending animation revels in BurnTheWitch, and the Tower Witches are locked into various torture devices while cheerfully singing the ending.

* RapunzelHair: Kagari has classic-length hair. It's implied that she grew it out because Honoka said she'd look pretty with it long.
