* LighterAndSofter: When compared to Manga/HighSchoolOfTheDead and other ZombieApocalypse works, this series is more lighthearted since it incorporates SliceOfLife SchoolgirlSeries elements in addition to ZombieApocalypse. [[spoiler:It's a subversion in the later chapters, as the later chapters reveal that psychological impact the zombie apocalypse had on the girls, particularly Yuki. And the later chapters have scenes that are as equally disturbing and depressing as Highschool of the Dead.]]
