''Azuki-chan'' is a manga that was released from 1993 to 1997. It stars an average Japanese elementary schoolgirl Noyama Azusa (AKA Azuki-chan) in a small urban area who live through her life with her friends, family, and her love interest. Her friends include:

''Azuki-chan'' is a manga that was released from 1993 to 1997. It starred an average Japanese elementary schoolgirl Noyama Azusa who lived through the life in a small town with her love interest and classmate, Ogasawara Yūnosuke, and along with their other classmates. Azusa's rather unfortunate nickname is Azuki[[note]]meaning red bean in Japanese[[/note]] due to an unfortunate mishap of mispronuncing of her name by her childhood friend, Takayanagi Ken. Her other friends include:

* AffectionateNickname: Used almost all of the children characters.

* KidDetective: In S2 episode 63, Azuki had to apply Sherlock Holmes' style deductive logic to locate Ken who was hiding in his room's closet with an infant's potty after Ken hurting Kaori's feelings due to an unproductive baseball match. JerkassRealization hit Ken afterwards and later apologized to her.
