* The ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManSpiderVerse'' films use this on and off depending on who's available. Creator/ShamiekMoore recorded several of his scenes with Creator/JakeJohnson and Creator/BrianTyreeHenry in [[WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse the first movie]], and discussed the process during the press tour. Creator/HaileeSteinfeld states that she had ''no idea'' they were able to do this before said tour. And thus she asked the creators to have her record lines with other actors in [[WesternAnimation/SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse the sequel]]. Hailee then went on to record several of her scenes with Shamiek, Creator/IssaRae, and Creator/SheaWhigham.

A method of recording voices where all (or most) of the actors are in the same room and record their dialogue together.

In {{anime}}, this is the standard. The animation is typically completed ''before'' the voice work is done, with all the actors in the studio at once. This cuts down on production time, and also has the benefit of allowing actors to play off each other's performances as well as see how the actual character looks while the dialogue is spoken.

* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' has a partial aversion. The principal voice recording takes place in Vancouver, but Creator/TaraStrong (who voices Twilight Sparkle) lives in LA. To get around this, the rest of the cast record their lines together with Creator/TabithaStGermain or Creator/KellySheridan filling in as Twilight, and Tara later records over the scratch track.

* The original ''[[WesternAnimation/TheTransformers Transformers]]'' cartoon was recorded like this, and according to the voice actors this led to many amusing antics inside the recording studio -- Creator/FrankWelker and Creator/MichaelBell were apparently notorious for encouraging the voice actors to misbehave.

* WesternAnimation/TangledTheSeries'': Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa recorded their lines for the "Nothing Left to Lose" sequence with each other face-to-face in the same room, given that the song is directed toward one another.

* ''WesternAnimation/VampirinaBallerina'' plays with this. Behind the scenes footage does show the cast together. However, Ian James Corlett, voice of Chef Remy Bones, has houses in both California and Canada (he does work in both Los Angeles and Vancouver as of circa 2014), meaning he can join the voice actors in one session, and record separately another time.

* A CutawayGag in ''LightNovel/NyarukoCrawlingWithLove'' shows Nyarko and Mahiro as AnimatedActors performing in this fashion (and Mahiro [[{{Slapstick}} throwing his copy of the script at Nyarko's head]] as punishment for her repeatedly invoking EndingTropes).

* Creator/ApphiaYu and Creator/MicahSolusod recorded their respective parts of Tiriel and Sorath together in ''LightNovel/ShakuganNoShana'' Seasons 2-3. Notably, they're a couple in real life.

* ''WebVideo/SailorMoonAbridged'', uniquely for AbridgedSeries, is recorded with all the players in one room. * ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' sometimes does this -- the season three episode "Hit the Diamond" was the first time that the entire voice cast for an episode was there at the same time. Though, funnily enough, since Charlyne Yi (Ruby's voice actress) had to voice the bulk of that episode's characters (playing not only the main Ruby, but also all five members of the Ruby Squad), most of the session was everyone else standing around and [[TalkingToHimself watching her talk to herself]].

** The principal actors on ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' record together, with the lone exception of Harry Shearer who, later in the show's run, has opted to record from his home studio. Hank Azaria will often be patched in from an outside studio when his live-action and stage career makes it difficult for him to join the others.
