** The end of "Dark Water" reveals that Missy had been working with the Cybermen all along. Except that Missy [[spoiler:[[GenderBender is really]] ''the Master''.]]

* Pre-release footage of ''VideoGame/SonicForces'' has shown Shadow the Hedgehog, Chaos, Zavok, and Metal Sonic (from ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure2'', ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure'', ''VideoGame/SonicLostWorld'', and ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehogCD'' respectively) standing together in opposition of the two Sonics and the custom hero character, apparently having aligned with Eggman in this reality (this despite the fact that Shadow and Chaos have never been seen as strictly evil up to this point). Also joining them is a new antagonist by the name of "Infinite".

* In the Franchise/StarTrekNovelVerse, Villain Team Up is the idea behind the ''Literature/StarTrekTyphonPact'' series, though it's uncertain if the Typhon Pact is an enemy of the United Federation of Planets or not. Politically, everything is highly uncertain, following the formation of the Pact in ''Literature/ASingularDestiny''. While the Pact members were historically antagonistic, their outlook is changing, at least in some cases.

* [[DefiedTrope Defied]] in ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'': [[BigBad Yhwach]] made a point about visiting the last major villain, Aizen, in his prison cell to offer him to join his army. Aizen refused, presumably because his [[AGodAmI delusions of godhood]] left him too proud to become anyone's henchman, even if the person making the offer was capable of one-shotting an enemy that Aizen wasn't willing to approach without major preparations.

** Kabuto takes it a step further with his [[spoiler:mass resurrection jutsu of every big name character to ever die in the series, forcing them to work together against the protagonists]]. They are mostly villains, but they also include some heroes.

** The Subspace Emissary mode of ''Brawl'' starts out with one of these, involving [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]], [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Bowser, Wario]], [[Franchise/{{Kirby}} King Dedede]], Master Hand, and with special guest appearances by [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Petey Pirahna]], [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} Rayquaza]], [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Ridley]], and [[VideoGame/{{Mother3}} Porky Minch]]. It quickly unravels though when Ganondorf [[HijackedByGanon attempts to backstab everyone]], Dedede [[GoodAllAlong turns out to be a good guy]], and then turns into a full-blown EnemyMine when the ''[[ManBehindTheMan real]]'' BigBad is revealed.

* The final storyline of ''Webcomic/TheAdventuresOfDoctorMcNinja'' has the Doc become cursed with bad luck, leading most of his notable past adversaries to decide to kill him at the same time and team up to do so: [[BigBad King Radical]], [[VillainousHarlequin Donald McBonald]], [[TheAhnold Frans Rayner]], {{Dracula}}, and even the Doc's morally ambiguous clone Old [=McNinja=].

* There have been '''MANY''' stables in wrestling history that were centered around a manager who was supposedly looking out for the financial interests of his wrestlers. While this was usually {{Kayfabe}}, "Precious" Paul Ellering, who assembled the original {{Legion of Doom}} in Georgia in the 1980s, which featured the TagTeam Wrestling/TheRoadWarriors, really ''was'' the team's legitimate business manager in RealLife.

* ''Videogame/BatmanArkhamKnight'' deals with an alliance of Batman's rogue gallery led by Scarecrow to deal with Batman once and for all. Specifically they all chipped in to pay the cost of the army, the mysterious Arkham Knight led it, [[spoiler:Deathstroke]] was the secondary commander, [[spoiler:Simon Stagg]] helped develop the Cloudburst, and the Penguin supplied weapons. Otherwise, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, and Firefly all made a point to to cause as much chaos as possible in the hope of spreading Batman too thin. [[spoiler:Man-Bat, Professor Pyg, and Deacon Blackfire]] didn't seem to be involved and their operating on the same night may have just been a coincidence. The Riddler is also ''quite'' insistent that he isn't working with them. He just so happened to pick the same night. [[BlatantLies It's a total coincidence]].

** In ''City'', things get even more complex: Strange turns out to be working for [[spoiler:Ra's]], the Mad Hatter was manipulated into helping them control the TYGER guards ([[YouHaveOutLivedYourUsefulness and thrown into Arkham City once that was done]]), and they hire Deadshot to kill people with important information. The Joker is forcing Mister Freeze to work for him (who turns on him the moment he can), and has [[spoiler:Clayface]] as a willing accomplice. The Penguin has [[spoiler:Solomon Grundy]] as a secret weapon, but given its [[spoiler:Grundy]] the cooperation is probably minimal.

* ''Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics'' has [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Bowser]] and [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik]] scheme to melt all the snow in the world by capturing the Snow Spirits. They got at it again in the London 2012 sequel, this time creating an artificial [[OminousFog thick fog]] to ruin the London games.

** There are times when Fegelein may team up with other pranksters to pull an antic on Hitler.

* SuperSentai crossover movies typically have the current villain group team up with the remnants of the previous villain group.

The Prowler attempts to buy weapons for him as well, [[spoiler:but later expresses his discomfort with the Vulture's weapons and helps Spider-Man find him]]. It's also implied that the Prowler at one point had dealings with the Scorpion before the events of the film.

** ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming'' featured the Vulture employing the Tinkerer, Montana, and Shocker, and selling weapons to the Scorpion. The Prowler attempts to buy weapons for him as well, [[spoiler:but later expresses his discomfort with the Vulture's weapons and helps Spider-Man find him]]. It's also implied that the Prowler at one point had dealings with the Scorpion before the events of the film.

** ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming'' featured the Vulture employing the Tinkerer, Montana, and Shocker, and selling weapons to the Scorpion.

* ''Series/{{Gotham}}'' does this frequently. Examples include Penguin and the Riddler; the Riddler, Tabitha Galavan, and Barbara Kean; Penguin and Ivy; and Jerome, Scarecrow, and Mad Hatter.

* The Pooh's Adventures series pulls this off tons of times. The villain of the movie Pooh is going through will almost always have back up from another villain, sometimes a villain working for a BiggerBad. And then there are times when an entire LegionOfDoom teams up with a villain, or have them join their ranks.

** ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' had Ronan the Accuser allying with Nebula, who's acting as an emissary of [[BiggerBad Thanos]]. [[spoiler:And then they both turn on him once getting the Infinity Stone.]]

** ''[[Film/BlackPanther2018 Black Panther]]'' had Killmonger teaming up with Klaue to steal some Vibranium and sell it on the black market. Though it later turns out that Killmonger was planning all along to betray Klaue, so that [[spoiler: he can present his corpse as a present to Wakanda, to buy his way into an audience with the elders]].

** ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' has Thanos once again teaming up with the Black Order. [[spoiler:As the movie is a time travel film that has the heroes going back to the events of ''The Avengers'', ''Thor: The Dark World'' and ''Guardians of the Galaxy'', then the team-ups featured in those films are technically implied in ''Endgame'', with Thanos from 2014 at one point recognizing The Avengers from 2023 due to his villainous team-up with Loki in the first ''Avengers'' film.]]

** ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' has Thanos once again teaming up with the Black Order. [[spoiler:As the movie is a time travel film that has the heroes going back to the events of ''The Avengers'', ''Thor: The Dark World'' and ''Guardians of the Galaxy'', then the team-ups featured in those films are technically implied in ''Endgame'', if never actually shown.]]
