* In at least one ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreed'' game, you have the option of picking up a broom if you knock it from the hand of a random guy sweeping the streets. It's wielded like a sword, and does very little damage... but it can still be used for instakill counterattacks, once again enabling you to dispose of a horde of armed guards with a simple stick, just to show off your supreme skills.

* ''TabletopGame/TheWitcherRolePlayingGame'': Because of the way Critical Hits works, a weapon is significantly more deadly in the hands of a skilled opponent, getting them more frequently and with more severity. Critical injuries, and their severity, are based on how much you defeat your opponent's defense by. So a weak attacker that just barely beats the defense will deal the weapon's base damage, whereas a master swordsman that beats the defense by >15 will do the weapon's base damage and also [[OffWithHisHead cut off your head.]]
