* In ''[[Comicbook/CountdownToFinalCrisis Countdown to Adventure]]'' the Comicbook/{{Starman}} of the magical Earth-33 has star-spangled spandex with the occasional ''planet'', and an UnmovingPlaid effect, very much creating the effect of a costume-shaped doorway to space. Surprisingly, no other Starman has had this effect (except the brief period Thom Kallor wore the mantle, alluded to above).
