* ''Series/AllMyChildren'': After Michael Cambias' death, before which he had [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating earned the hatred of everyone in Pine Valley]] for his [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape of Bianca]], Bianca's then-lover Lena personally spits on his grave.

* A flashback in ''VideoGame/Yakuza4'' reveals that [[CrazyAwesome Goro Majima]] spit in the face of the man beating him, and then refused to apologize, resulting in the [[EyeScream loss of his eye]].

* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Rio}}'', Jewel does this to the leader of the marmosets sent to capture her and Blu. Blu tries the same, only for it to dribble down his beak.

* In ''Comicbook/TheSandman'', when the angel Remiel visits Lucifer and asks him if he'd consider going back to Hell (Remiel and his friend Duma were tasked with watching over Hell after Lucifer quit and Remiel hates it). Lucifer laughs in his face and refuses, then goes on to taunt Remiel for his cowardice and remarks that Duma must have been the one who ultimately had the backbone to take the Key to Hell (he's right). Remiel then spits in Lucifer's face. Lucifer [[TranquilFury calmly]] wipes off the spittle, just as calmly points out that he's still powerful enough to annihilate Remiel...then lets him go content with scaring him out of his wits.[[/folder]]

** Defied, though, by Jaina Solo in during the Literature/NewJediOrder when Kyp Durron involves her in his latest scheme. She says, venomously, that if he were dying of thirst [[ThirstyDesert on Tatooine]] she [[NotWorthKilling wouldn't]] spit on him. (Presumably because in some small way that might help him -- which she categorically refuses to do.)

* In ''Videogame/GodOfWarPS4'', the Witch of the Woods revives Mimir's head. After confirming that the ritual worked and Mimir can speak and understand her...she spits in his face.
