* In ''Literature/MyTeacherIsAnAlien'', one of the last books has these human characters interacting with TheFederation, whose members are non-humanoid aliens. At one point they eat something that is really really delicious, but what it actually turns out to be is horribly disgusting. I don't think it was ever said what it was, but it was likely something like an excretion of a disgusting-looking animal.

** Another coffee company does the same thing, but with elephants.
