* Used in a StealthPun in ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse''. A puffer fish-monster with a green and pink color scheme gets crushed in one episode during a beach party, and [[spoiler: WordOfGod says it [[WasOnceAMan was once a Crystal Gem]] named Watermelon Tourmaline]].
** A later episode had Steven inadvertently growing a grove of watermelons with previously unknown GreenThumb powers shaped like him. They become animate, but act in his defense outside of his control, leading to the gems fighting off an army on the beach, and [[VictoryByEndurance eventually losing]]. They specifically smash into slices, rather than pulp.
