Apparently, Akio represents a younger Chikao]]. ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII'' would then see [[spoiler:Akio taking up the role of the elder Master Xehanort in the stead of his late father]].

* The ending in the Japanese version of ''VideoGame/{{Metal Gear Solid 4|GunsOfThePatriots}}'' featured Creator/AkioOhtsuka as Solid Snake and Creator/ChikaoOhtsuka as [[spoiler:Snake's father Big Boss]]. [[CreatorChosenCasting This was intentional]] on Creator/HideoKojima's part: Both men were estranged and had a distant relationship before ''[=MGS4=]'' went into development, so Kojima cast Chikao as [[spoiler:[[TimeShiftedActor the older incarnation of Big Boss]]]] in order to help father and son reconnect.
