Their last communication with him was anger and disappointment towards Nintendo's E3 2015 presentation, which included the divisive ''VideoGame/MetroidPrimeFederationForce''. Iwata apologized and promised next year would be better. He never got the chance to do it and many fans are now upset that this was the last thing they said to him before he died.
