* ''Film/TheWizard'': Corey Woods and Haley Brooks meet at the bus station and do all the communicating with each other since Corey's brother Jimmy barely ever says a word. Each one clearly has a crush on the other though each feels awkward about it and eventually each share their troubled home life with the other: Corey's mother had passed away, his father became distant and his stepmother left with Jimmy when their sister tragically died and Haley's mother is apparently MIA due to a gambling issue while her truck drivimng father is never around. The two contantly make travel arrangements and study Jimmy's progress on the games together too and eventually it culminates in a memorable AwkwardKiss//DissKiss between the two after [[BelligerentSexualTension a moment of the tension they've consistently had]].

She's immensely supportive of his job as a pilot and he's supportive of her working toward becoming an actress too and when we initally meet each of them, they have a picture of the other that they clearly cherish--with CLiff actually making it a point to save his picture of Jenny from his burning, crashed plane. He doesn't tell Jenny about it because he didn't want her to worry about him and she's upset because Cliff didn't trust her about it. He tries to tell Jenny about the rocket after he's found it because he wants to show he can trust her and she eventually believes him about the danger before BigBad Neville Sinclair abducts her. Cliff is willing to at first fight the Nazis to rescue her, willingly gives the rocket to Sinclair in exchange for her safety and Jenny helps Cliff to fight Sinclair and the others while also stealing plans for the rocket which she then provides later so it can be rebuilt. When Howard Hughes asks him about how flying the rocket felt, Cliff comes quickly to the realization that it's definitely second compared to the love he has for Jenny.

Lucy's marriage to Ray has become loveless over the years and it's ended when Ray is murdered—much like Frank's own wife Debra was murdered years earlier by the same people just as their marriage was on the verge of failing too. The connection between both Frank and Lucy is instant and strong, she believes in both his ability to communicate with the dead and his innocence when he's accused of the murders, she helps him escape and be temporarily separated from his body at another point, he gives up his life saving hers, gets sent back from Heaven with Debra's blessing to "be happy" and begins a new life with Lucy while she turn also develops and now also shares his unique ability.

* ''Series/TheMiddle'': Axl Heck and Lexie Brooks. Having met due to the former being Sue's older brother and the latter being her college roommate, Axl very nonchalantly doesn't filter himself around Lexie anymore than he would around Sue and that instantly displays a level of comfort he's never had around previous love interests. Eventually it's not long after Axl ends things with April that he reciprocates Lexie's feelings by kissing her, the two spending a lot of time together--with Axl no longer being interested in anyone else and uncomfortable at the idea that she'd be with anyone else--her constantly being cheerful and proud of their union, supporting each other through difficult times--such as when Lexie gets cut off and Axl takes a job in Denver--and eventually making it through the ups and downs in end. Proves how ultimately strong that bond of love is when in the future, they're HappilyMarried with three-four kids.
