* In ''Film/IronMan2'', a kid wearing an Iron Man mask and toy repulsor gets mistaken for the real thing by a Hammer drone. Thankfully, the real Iron Man shows up to blast it before it can open fire.
** Elsewhere in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, a kid wearing oversized Hulk Hands can be seen in one of the news feeds at the end of ''Film/TheAvengers2012''.

to:

* The Avengers are public figures in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, so there is some merchandise based on them out there:

Though since the masks are based on their [[UsefulNotes/TheSilverAgeOfComicBooks Silver Age]] comics and not how they look in the MCU, they're probably [[ShoddyKnockoffProduct UNoffical Cosplay Gear]] in-universe.

to:

* ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' use ''Franchise/PowerRangers'':
** The show uses
the toy versions of their ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' counterparts' {{Transformation Trinket}}s as their morphers... and also release it as official merchandise. Later seasons would release different toys for the US market, usually smaller and with fewer features but at a fraction of the cost to produce or buy. The original Morpher and Blade Blaster came in a two pack that was around 80 US dollars in 1993 (or $133 adjusted); Starting with ''Samurai'', the Morphers generally cost about 15 to 20 with the SixthRanger Morphers costing around 10 with even fewer features.

** There are also costumes that can be custom-ordered of ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' and ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' heroes suits, of both the costumes and the helmets. The amount of work put into these can be astonishing.

The amount of work put into these can be astonishing. More recently, Bandai has been officially licensing costumes in show-accurate Morph Suit, muscle-padded Halloween-type, and designer clothing flavors.

Added DiffLines:

** Bandai of America released a ''Mighty Morphin[='=]'' Red Ranger helmet in 2016, made using 3D scans of the original to produce molds. It's available through Toys-R-Us and Amazon, and if successful will open up the possibility for more.

** Gets even weirder when the Marzipan "costume" consists of a purple string bikini with pictures of her ponytail and dress pattern printed on them, plus a devil tail and CatGirl ears. In Marzipan's own words, it's "[[CrossesTheLineTwice so offensive that it's not really offensive anymore]]." Even worse is the fact that somehow Coach Z thinks its meant to look like ''him.''
