* In ''Series/TheSecretCircle'', close to the end, Charles Meade finds out, when his daughter Diana asks, that she isn't actually his daughter, his (now-deceased) wife Elizabeth had an affair with John Blackwell while they were separated for a few weeks. He does, however, immediately reaffirm himself as her father, claiming he and Elizabeth were happier after they got back together. Afterward, he confronts John about the affair in public, and assaults him, both for personal and pragmatic reasons. In the rest of the season, Diana continues to refer to Charles as her father. Later, when Charles tells his mother about this, she reveals she always suspected, but didn't care.

* Rick Grimes of television's ''Series/TheWalkingDead2010'' learns that his wife, Lori, has had an affair with his best friend and co-worker, Shane; Lori later gives birth to a daughter, Judith. Rick mentions to another character that Shane is Judith's father. (Paternity testing is likely a low priority in the zombie apocalypse, however.)

* In ''Series/{{Cursed}}'', it's revealed that Jonah abandoned Nimue after he learned that she wasn't biologically his daughter (his wife had a relationship with another man shortly before their marriage), and also because he was afraid of her powers. Nimue later figures out her real father is [[spoiler:Merlin]].

* ''Series/BetterThings'': In Season 4, Sam learns her maternal grandfather was not the man she had thought he was biologically. He'd actually been [[CheatingWithTheMilkman a milkman]] who'd lived near her mom's childhood home in England. Phil, her mom, is flippantly indifferent, saying they're all dead anyway, so who cares?
