* ''The Search For Mickey Mouse'' was a [[WhatCouldHaveBeen scrapped]] Creator/{{Disney}} film from the early 2000s meant to coincide with WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse's 75th anniversary. In it Mickey gets kidnapped. WesternAnimation/{{Goofy}}, WesternAnimation/DonaldDuck, and Basil from ''Disney/TheGreatMouseDetective'' go around the world looking for him and encountering numerous Franchise/DisneyAnimatedCanon characters. The film was inspired by cut scenes from ''Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit'' and ''Disney/{{Fantasia 2000}}''. Rumors existed that the film was coming out as late as 2012. The film however was cancelled all the way in 2002. The team couldn't figure out how to make an engaging film with a decent plot that also involved Disney cameos every few scenes.

* Similarly, ''WebAnimation/{{Tonin}}'': After the ''TabletopGame/HeroClix'' tactical miniature combat game works on series ended, some characters featured in "Transando Essa Transa", a PointBuildSystem basis and includes web animation story featuring characters from many comic books (Marvel "Tonin" and DC, but also "indie" ones); Superman, Dhalsim and Dark Phoenix against Dr. Manhattan, Beta Ray Bill and someone else to match character points is a perfectly reasonable battle.
* ''TabletopGame/AniMayhem'', a CollectibleCardGame produced in the middle 1990s by [[Creator/{{Geneon}} Pioneer Entertainment]] that set characters
from many different anime settings -- surprisingly including many other series licensed by companies ''other'' than Pioneer -- in a grand romp across their various worlds.belonging to the same website, namely "Espinha & Fimose"; "Só Levando"; and "Tobby Entrevista".

* Wiki/TVTropes:
** Our own Pantheon/TropePantheons. Characters from across all fiction gather together as deities, and presumably alternate between annoying each other, and fighting the villains.
** TV Tropes has one for the works of the Walt Disney Company called WMG/FriendsAndTheHighCouncil.
** ''Roleplay/TheMassiveMultiFandomRPG'', TV Tropes' own MegaCrossover PlayByPostGame. The premise: a mysterious, all-powerful being known only as The Troper has ripped dozens of characters out of their universes and dumped them into an enclosed city with no way out. Each new day the city's inhabitants are subjected to a new, often absurd, scenario called a "curse"--[[GenderBender having their genders reversed]], [[BalefulPolymorph being transformed into animals]] or being transported into a [[EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs dinosaur-infested jungle]]. The game has included characters from ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}, Manga/FullmetalAlchemist, GhostRecon, VideoGame/ValkyriaChronicles, Franchise/XMen, Franchise/MassEffect, Series/{{Lost}}, Franchise/StarTrek, WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom, Franchise/{{Halo}}, Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann, VideoGame/MetalGearSolid, VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes, Franchise/StarWars,'' and ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'' among many, many, many others. Season 2 began almost as soon as Season 1 ended, and has already featured characters from ''Manga/SoulEater, VideoGame/MegaManX, Series/{{Firefly}}, Franchise/LyricalNanoha, Manga/{{Yotsuba}}, ComicBook/GreenLantern, Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion, Franchise/{{Castlevania}}'' and more.
** TV Tropes' very own AlternateRealityGame ''ARG/TheWallWillFall'' has many fictional characters entering the real world.
* The number of franchises characters come from in ''Roleplay/CampusLife'' is absurd. In a short list there's ''VideoGame/EarthBound, Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog, Franchise/{{Pokemon}}, [[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soul Calibur]], WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic, Franchise/StarWars, VideoGame/{{Pikmin}}, VideoGame/{{Klonoa}}, VideoGame/BlazBlue, VideoGame/{{Portal}}, Franchise/{{Stargate|Verse}}, Franchise/DragonBall, ComicBook/IronMan'', and many, ''[[LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters MANY]]'' others.
* The Roleplay/FictionalISOTMapGame series of Website/AlternateHistoryDotCom takes its premise as being about 2-dozen or so nations from different works of fiction suddenly being transported to a "blank" Earth without sentient life.
* Although there are [[JournalRoleplay many similarly-themed RPs]], ''Roleplay/MilliwaysBar'' deserves mention just for its ''size''. The basic premise is that any character from any fandom can find themselves at the titular bar... and sometimes it seems like just about everyone has.
* ''Roleplay/DestroyTheGodmodder'': And how. Players can summon, as entities, anything from any fictional work to fight for them. This is the plot at the moment (in DTG 2):
** [[{{VideoGame/Minecraft}} Minecraftia]], the setting of the game, is threatened by [[BigBad the Godmodder]], a mysterious employer who convinced [[{{Webcomic/Homestuck}} Doc Scratch, Lord English, and the Condescence]] to invade it, and team of [[WellIntentionedExtremists Well Intentioned Extremists]] known as the counter-operation that was set up my the U.S Government and is made up of an [[AIIsACrapshoot AI called Project Binary]], [[{{VideoGame/Portal}} GLaDOS]], and [[{{WesternAnimation/GravityFalls}} Bill Cipher]].
** The heroes consist of the insane king of the Nether accompanied by [[{{VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTwilightPrincess}} Midna, who wields the Twili version of the Master Sword]], an [[OurElvesAreBetter elven mage]] who happens to be an alien from a [[{{Webcomic/Homestuck}} Sburb session]], a warrior-engineer from the [[{{TabletopGame/Warhammer40000}} Warhammer 40K universe]], another elf, this time an engineer who is companions with [[{{WesternAnimation/Futurama}} an iconic drunken robot]] and owns a space station populated by a small army of [[{{VideoGame/KerbalSpaceProgram}} kerbal]] researchers and run by [[{{Film/TwoThousandOneASpaceOdyssey}} HAL 9000]].
* The premise of ''Roleplay/TrespassersOfTheMultiverseGaiden'' is characters coming from different worlds to make a LastStand against a HordeOfAncientLocusts.
* ''Roleplay/CityOfLostCharacters'' (a SpiritualSuccessor of sorts to the ''Massive Multi-Fandom RPG'', above) where characters from all over the multiverse are trapped inside an ever-shifting city and subject to a series of challenges.

* Wiki/TVTropes' very own AlternateRealityGame ''ARG/TheWallWillFall'' has many fictional characters entering the real world.

* ''WebAnimation/{{Tonin}}'': After the series ended, some characters featured in "Transando Essa Transa", a web animation story featuring characters from "Tonin" and from other series belonging to the same website, namely "Espinha & Fimose"; "Só Levando"; and "Tobby Entrevista".

* The Series/ChildrenInNeed music video "Peter Kay's Animated All-Star Band", which features nearly every significant British StopMotion characters with a few 2D British and American characters broadcast "live via satellite", including ''WesternAnimation/RoaryTheRacingCar'', ''WesternAnimation/FifiAndTheFlowertots'', ''WesternAnimation/TheWombles'', ''In the Night Garden'', ''WesternAnimation/AngelinaBallerina'', ''Franchise/ScoobyDoo'', ''Series/{{Bagpuss}}'', ''WesternAnimation/BobTheBuilder'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Ben 10}}'', ''Series/{{Thunderbirds}}'', ''WesternAnimation/PostmanPat'', ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants'', ''WesternAnimation/FiremanSam'', ''Camberwick Green'', and ''WesternAnimation/{{Paddington}}'' amongst others. [[DoingItForTheArt All singing parts of the characters by their original voice actors. The video took two years to produce, and it's for charity.]]
