* ''Series/StrongMedicine'': Lu gets fed up with her bickering neighbors and storms upstairs to confront them, only to find one of them dead. It turns out that the two female roommates where actually girlfriends and both were police officers who'd kept their relationship secret, fearing ill treatment from their colleagues. Sure enough, the detectives are a couple of sexist homophobes who immediately arrest her partner and practically refuse to do any further investigation. It is of course up to Lu to find out that while the relationship was troubled, it wasn't abusive, and that the woman had actually killed herself because she feared it was over.
