* PlayedForLaughs in ComicBook/TheBoys. The team's ButtMonkey "Monkey" gets DrunkWithPower after being put in charge, and tries to force himself on a woman in a wheelchair (as he had a fetish for disabled women). Unfortunately for him, she was a HandicappedBadass and lays him flat with him waking up tied to a bed. After mocking him, Butcher then proceeds to let his dog have his way with the man.

A SubTrope of AssholeVictim, SexualKarma and LaserGuidedKarma. Often implied if the villain is imprisoned. Commonly PlayedForLaughs a la BlackComedyRape, but can be portrayed seriously. When played for laughs, it often overlaps with DisproportionateRetribution, as considering this a AFateWorseThanDeath means that even a murderer gets something worse than what they did. Common for those who are rapists themselves, especially child molesters, as a sort of IronicHell and the only ones for whom no one can call it disproportionate. Most victims are male, but the odd RareFemaleExample pops up from time to time. Can overlap with RapePortrayedAsRedemption if this starts the villain on the long hard road to a HeelFaceTurn. May also overlap with SexSignalsDeath and RedemptionEqualsDeath. See also UsefulNotes/VictimBlaming. Almost by definition comes with a heaping helping of UnfortunateImplications and KarmicOverkill. Compare and Contrast with RapeAndRevenge as it can turn into this trope if the original rape victim, later on, ends up raping their rapist.

Of course, many people would argue that no one, no matter how evil, deserves rape. There is such a thing as a SympatheticMurderer but no such thing as a sympathetic rapist after all, therefore it makes for such an atrocity that it leaves a sore taste no matter how unpleasant the victim was. Pretty much every civilized nation in the world has laws meant to protect both free citizens and criminals from rape, and international law considers it a crime against humanity to allow or commit rape as part of a punishment for a crime, and there are countless human-rights organizations that work to eliminate rape against prisoners. This trope is when rape is treated by the narrative and/or the characters as a just punishment for the villain's crimes. Since RealLife, as far as we know, lacks a narrative to pass judgment, Administrivia/NoRealLifeExamplesPlease

Fixing the main article a little, by removing the points that are presented twice and emphasising that the punishment fitting the crime cannot be considered disproportionate. It may not be considered acceptable depending on each person's point of view but it is certainly objectively fits the crime

But some villains are so villainous, so incredibly evil, that "merely" dying seems like they're getting off just a tad too easy. For these villains, AFateWorseThanDeath is in order. It may also overlap with PrisonRape, or an IronicHell. Compare and Contrast with RapeAndRevenge as it can turn into this trope if the original rape victim, later on, ends up raping their rapist.
