* ''Very'' late in ''TV/FallingSkies'', we find out that the aliens occupying Earth are controlled by a single Queen--so, conveniently, our heroes can destroy the entire enemy invasion in the last fifteen minutes of the series.

* A strange variation in ''WesternAnimation/KimPossible''. The Bebes decide to make Bonnie their queen simply because she is the one person that Kim hates more than anyone else and are hoping that this will give them an advantage.

Really all this translated to doing was strapping her to a chair and reading her mind for ideas.

%% ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' has Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings. Whilst it's not explicitly stated or confirmed that Changelings are a HiveMind, but being an insect-like species of pony that is organized around a single Queen does give some evidence towards the theory. %% This does not fit because it's just a theory and the minions are clearly autonomous. %%** At least one of them is shown to have an individual personality, though, in that it briefly stops fighting to do an impression of Pinkie Pie at her request, although this could very well serve as evidence against. %%*** The comics add further arguments against the theory by showing the Changelings conquer a kingdom but operate in a fashion similar to that of ponies, as well as commanding officers openly questioning some of Chrysalis' decisions, though out of confusion not defiance.
