* Even taking into account the time he got de-aged by a RealityWarper, {{Magneto}} is decidedly not a young man. He was born in the late 1920s, and ComicBookTime doesn't change this since being [[UsefulNotes/NaziGermany a Holocaust survivor]] is central to his character. Chronologically he's in his late 80s, and biologically he's probably in his late 50s or so. Despite this, he's a buff, attractive-looking man whose only real hint at not being young is his white hair...except that it has been white his entire life so that's a false hint.

As the photo of Creator/HelenMirren at right illustrates, TruthInTelevision can apply (other often-cited real world examples include Creator/SophiaLoren and Creator/JoanCollins). However, we won't list real life examples, as attempting to identify those examples might slip into YMMV territory and get of control.

However, examples listed below should be confined to fictional references, as attempting to identify too many real world examples might slip into YMMV territory.

Contrast with IWasQuiteALooker. See also ChristmasCake, and LikesOlderWomen. When adding examples, avoid people who are HollywoodOld. '''They must be visibly old for the trope to be in effect'''.

Compare StacysMom, with which this can overlap. Also likely to overlap with SilverFox.

* ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'' has Stan Pines, along with [[spoiler: his twin brother, Ford.]] Despite being grey-haired men in their sixties, both still have broad-shouldered, powerful builds and can pack quite a punch. It's enough to earn the FanNickname of "Hunkle Stan."
