Many cultures in RealLife hold that it's not polite to point. In a lot of western cultures, this stems from a superstition [[MagicalGesture that finger-pointing was how witches would jinx people]]. Of course, the fact that aggressively thrusting a body part at someone could possibly serve to [[BerserkButton annoy them]] probably has something to do with it.

* Zen does this in ''Manga/AkagamiNoShirayukihime'' after [[spoiler:Touka Bergatt]] actually manages to further infuriate Zen by emotionlessly telling [[spoiler:Tariga]] that once he's killed him and [[spoiler:Tsuruba]] he'll simply replace them. Zen takes a moment to point his finger at [[spoiler:Touka]] and inform him that he's done being able to do as he pleases and is in the process of his defeat. The act also serves as a delaying tactic since Zen is injured, poisoned and aware that if he keeps fighting [[spoiler:Touka]] one on one in his current condition it's going to end in his own death so he's giving TheCavalry time to arrive.
* In ''Manga/AkagamiNoShirayukihime'' Zen points at [[spoiler:Touka]] and puts his sword over a shoulder in what seems like a dangerous move that leaves him open to attacks while angrily telling the greedy noble that he is in the middle of his defeat. He's likely using the posture and speech to stall for time since he is quickly loosing his grip on consciousness, and he gets cut off and forced to resume fighting rather quickly.
