** As well as a similar overlap between the ''VideoGame/WarioWare'' and 'VideoGame/RhythmHeaven'' fandoms. Probably because they're both microgame collection titles created by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems which (as of the last few games) share an art style due to a shared art director.

* There's a decent amount of overlap between the ''VideoGame/WarioLand'' and ''VideoGame/Shantae'' fandoms, due to their status as collectathon orientated 2D platformers with detailed graphics that first originated on the Game Boy/Game Boy Colour.

* Back in the day, there was a pretty well-known overlap between fandoms for ''Manga/OnePiece'' and ''Franchise/JoJosBizarreAdventure'', primarily on the basis that they both have very distinct art styles, that EiichiroOda and HirohikoAraki are extremely pop culture savvy in regards to both Japanese and western media and flaunt it in their work whenever they can, and that both series are LongRunners whose stories have only gotten wilder and wilder since they began.

* Fans of ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'' are pretty open to most other fandoms as well. Knowing the show's context, this is actually very fitting.

* ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' and ''Webcomic/AxisPowersHetalia'' used to have [[FandomRivalry quite the rivalry,]] but after realizing that the two fandoms overlap ''a lot'', they've made up and declared themselves each others Moirails. Hetalia has also struck a cord with some Website/AlternateHistoryDotCom users as well, with all the frequent AlternateUniverseFic opportunities.

* ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' and ''VisualNovel/DanganRonpa'' also have a decent overlap, which makes sense since both series have a tendency to kill off their LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters after fleshing them out and giving them unique personalities, and both series involve teens having to deal with TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt in different ways. It's also thought the fans of the former latched onto the latter because the former is on hiatus leading up to the final act.

** ''Literature/SeventeenThousandSevenHundredSeventySix'' deserves special mention, as upon becoming popular it was ''instantly'' compared to ''Homestuck'', and therefore the fandoms of both overlapped heavily.

* It's not uncommon to come across people who play both ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder'' and ''Videogame/GranblueFantasy''; both are mobile role-playing games with lots of attractive characters (including those that fall under MrFanservice and MsFanservice), each of which has their own distinct voice actor.

* Though [[BrokenBase some fans have differing opinions on]] ''VideoGame/{{Fallout 3}}'', its release by Bethesda has caused a union between many fans of ''Franchise/TheElderScrolls'' and ''VideoGame/{{Fallout}}'' franchises. The main reason is presumably that both franchises place a strong emphasis on WorldBuilding in their games and (as of ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion'' and ''Fallout 3'') generally similar gameplay. Ever since id Software was acquired by Bethesda's parent company [=ZeniMax=] Media, these fandoms have even overlapped with those of id's franchises, including ''VideoGame/{{Doom}}'', ''Franchise/{{Quake}}'', ''Franchise/{{Wolfenstein}}'', and ''VideoGame/{{Rage}}'', all of which Bethesda has since had some sort of involvement in.
