** [[BigBad The Emperor]] of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyII'' has always been depicted with long, claw-like nails, likely serving as a RedRightHand, but the...[[OffModel interesting take on the character]] shown in the FMV opening to later remakes of the game really takes it UpToEleven, [[http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20060224061219/finalfantasy/images/9/9a/Ff2psx_1.jpg as you can see]]. Damn, that's a nice manicure. And it's set to make a possibly-even-''more''-glorious return in ''Duodecim'', the sequel to ''{{Dissidia}}''. Name and number of your manicurist, ''please'', Mr. Palamecia.

Added DiffLines:

* Darklaw of ''VideoGame/ProfessorLaytonVsAceAttorney'' sports a golden gauntlet version of this, which gauntlets are only used for show during the game. A borderline case because they could double as actual weapons. [[spoiler:Their use as a prop for magic does not count, especially since her magic is revealed to be just hypnosis and other stage magic.]]

It's uncanny how often women with Femme Fatalons turn out to be villainesses too. While PowerHair at least has the benefit of the doubt (mostly because most people have hair), it's a rare woman who can wear these and be on the side of good. Maybe it's the claw-like look, the illusion of CreepyLongFingers, the implied [[CombatSadomasochist sadism]] and FingerLickingEvil, or perhaps just having them is itself a RedRightHand (well, red fingernail polish).
