* In the Creator/NicolasCage/Creator/SamuelLJackson film ''Film/AmosAndAndrew'', the bloodhounds from earlier in the movie go chasing after the police chief near the end.

* In ''Film/{{Beetlejuice}}'', Betelgeuse is apparently swallowed by a huge {{sandworm}}. Doesn't kill him (he's immortal), but it does prevent him from returning to Earth at any time in the near future.
* The third act of ''Film/CabinInTheWoods'' culminates in Dana and Marty releasing all of the Organization's monsters, resulting a ''very'' bloody finale as they slaughter everything in the building.

* ''Fanfic/RiseOfTheGaleforces'': The events of the last few chapters see each of this mega-crossover's two villains meet their fate in this manner: [[PlotIrrelevantVillain Velociripper]] gets SwallowedWhole by a {{cyborg}} [[SeaMonster mosasaur]] that was a recurring antagonist, while a ludicrously OutOfCharacter [[Film/TheLostWorldJurassicPark Peter Ludlow]] is ripped to pieces, ''[[{{Gorn}} onscreen]]'', by the baby ''T. rexes'' from ''WesternAnimation/IceAgeDawnOfTheDinosaurs'', of all things. Some years after the fic's writing, its own author followed up on [[CreatorBacklash his criticism of it]] in his ''WebOriginal/ProtectorsOfThePlotContinuum'' missions [[SubvertedTrope by having Velociripper be unwittingly sent to the PPC Headquarters alongside the mosasaur that'd eaten him up and then recovered in critical condition]] (setting up his HeelFaceTurn later), [[WordOfSaintPaul on the grounds that]] [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter there was a lot of potential with the character which he'd unfortunately squandered at the time]]. The character replacement of Ludlow, [[OmnicidalManiac of]] [[FlatCharacter course]], [[DeaderThanDead had no such luck]].

* At the end of ''{{WesternAnimation/Dinosaur}}'', the evil ''Iguanodon'' Kron is killed by the ''Carnotaurus'' (who then later [[DisneyVillainDeath falls to their death]] after one final battle against Aladar) as a result of him refusing to listen to Aladar's warning of how it would be to continue using the old entrance to the Nesting Grounds due to it being blocked by a huge landslide which Kron plans to climb over it, knowing that this will threaten the Herd's survival, and that they should use the much safer new entrance Aladar and friends have accidentally discovered while trapped in the caves, causing Kron to try and kill Aladar before finally abandoning the Herd once said ''Carnotaurus'' starts attacking them, with the Herd fighting back against the ''Carnotaurus'' by "standing together" and proceeding to climb up the landslide alone, allowing the ''Carnotaurus'' to finally gain the opportunity to kill him.
