* ''Series/{{Frasier}}'' has the radio station hire two of these in one episode. Although when Frasier starts to give them a speech about the nobility of entertainment etc. he accidentally sets them to arguing with each other - and when he tries to continue one of them snaps that he went to college and already knows what Frasier's trying to say, then hits his BeserkButton by correcting Frasier's French pronunciation.

* DJ Stryker in ''{{Burnout}} 3: Takedown''. Bonus points for being a ''real'' radio DJ.
* There's rather a lot of [=DJs=] in some of the venues on ''SecondLife'' (at least outside the really professional, first-tier places like Dance Island) that Will. Not. Shut. Up. Some can pull this off; others, not so much.

* ''LoadingReadyRun'' once did a sketch about a pair of shock jock [=DJs=] doing a really dreadful morning show, with phone pranks failing, awful music and everything going wrong. Their boss comes in and announces he is the Devil and that they are in an IronicHell. Only he's just yanking their chain and it's just a bad morning. [[spoiler: Only it ''is'' hell.]]

** Inverted in their series ''WebOriginal/{{Qwerpline}}'', in which G-Money seems pretty sensible and in [[QuirkyTown Nsburg]] is almost certainly the sanest person there. His cohost A-Train has his quirks, but is still less crazy than almost everyone they interact with, and [[spoiler: turns out to make a pretty good alderman after being accidentally elected.

* The Music/QueensOfTheStoneAge album ''Songs For The Deaf'' had DumbassDJ intros to several tracks. A dumbass DJ closes "No One Knows". However, the segment is entirely in Spanish.

** Never the most scintillating of hosts, Opie (now a senor citizen with a million-dollar home) struck gold one year when he took a slice of cake from a homeless man and stomped on it. (The homeless man was allegedly paid 100 bucks for his role in the stunt.) He's been trying to recapture the magic of that moment ever since: mocking a man with no tongue; forcing an amputee to pick up change; smashing a street musician's guitar; offering an autistic man a ride, then cackling and screeching off before he can get in the car; and so on. These days he runs around NYC harassing strangers. "Opie" is [[DiscoDan an outdated caricature]], and yet he persists in making himself out to be a well-connected piece of shit bully.

** You can't spend years, YEARS, telling the audience that everyone and everything in radio sucks and make yourselves above it all and then expose yourself just like you exposed everyone else. O&A built a very specific, niche audience who wanted to just see people fail and laugh at them. However, all that's null and void now as most of the vitriolic things they said about radio people could easily be applied to them, and the sheer irony of that chews at your ear if you try to listen. Opie's also done many of the "HACK BITS" that he used to scream about. Ketchup contest? Really?

* Ah, [=OaA=]. In some ways the show was a precursor to [=4chan=], with all the baggage and shock value that implies. Anthomy Cumia got bounced by Sirius FM following an incident where filmed a black hooker in NYC without her consent and got (rightfully) beat up. This caused his mind to snap, and he began a one-man war on "political correctness" and "N***ger culture". Once he left, Opie (Ant's producer and Ed [=McMahon=] flak) completely took over the show, and it became clear that Ant needs [=OaA=] as much as [=OaA=] needs him. The Opester is a capable producer, while Ant plainly has no idea how to organize a show. Opie is not a natural comedian; Ant is a born comedian with uncanny timing, but he needs a co-host (something he currently lacks) to keep him in check. Otherwise he just launches into hour-long Stormfront rants free of punctuation or any jokes.
** Gregg "Opie" Hughes is a soft-bodied senior citizen with a million-dollar home. His livelihood is running around NYC being obnoxious to complete strangers and obsessing over his pageviews.\\\

There is a flashback where a young Cannie hears a bit where these two [=DJs=] (whose show is suffering low ratings) look at the wedding announcements for the ugliest bride and they stop at this one called "Wide Bride", the dubious winner gets a supply of Alpo delivered to her house. Cannie's mother is disgusted and switches to NPR, whereas Cannie wonders about how the bride, the groom, the bride's mother and friends feel about the business and worries about her or a loved one receiving this sort of abuse.
