* Creator/WillSmith did this multiple times. ''Film/MenInBlack'', ''Film/WildWildWest'', and ''Film/{{Hitch}}'' come to mind as three whose theme songs got lots of radio play as well (the first two matching the film titles, the last being called "Switch").

* Every iteration of the ThemeTune of ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' was written and performed by the show's stars - Joel Hodgson wrote the lyrics that appear during his five seasons on the show, and all the variations that appear during the Mike years were written by Mike Nelson himself. (Considering that Mike wrote about three out of every five songs performed on the show, this is not actually all that surprising.)
