In the belief that they are [[MuscleAngst too skinny or scrawny]] some will almost obsessively work out and eat a lot of food in order to put on more weight (in the form of muscle mass). This tends to happen more often to those who are already perceived as being very physically fit or muscular, and is known as [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_dysmorphia muscle dysmorphia]] or, appropriately, reverse anorexia. Both are essentially nasty side-effects of the way our modern media portrays the ideal body figure for both women and men.
