** One episode has a scene parodying ''Film/CapeFear'' which is perhaps [[ParodyDisplacement better known]], where Sideshow Bob threatens Bart in the theatre. After Marge demands he stay away from Bart, Bob fails to think of a threat in time (considering his ominously inflected promise to leave Bart alone inadequate), to his annoyance.

** In the fourth episode, Lestat, Claudia and Louis are laughing their heads off while watching ''Film/{{Nosferatu}}'' (which is not a comedy), irritating the other people in the theater.
** In the seventh episode, Lestat and Claudia rudely chat in their normal voices during a newsreel screening at the cinema. An annoyed moviegoer shushes them twice, so Lestat activates his PeoplePuppets ability to force the man to slap himself silly. Claudia giggles in amusement.
