* Elena is this in ''Series/TheVampireDiaries'', especially in regards to Stefan. She got very jealous and suspicious of first Caroline, then Katherine and then Rebekah, who all happened to harbour either an attraction, obsession or affection for Stefan.
** Katherine strongly qualifies as well in regards to Stefan, but more to the {{Yandere}}, IfICantHaveYou, StalkerWithACrush, VillainessesWantHeroes, and MurderTheHypotenuse levels.

* In ''VisualNovel/Clannad'', after drinking one cup of sake, Nagisa becomes this in regard to her own ''[[HotShounenMom mother]]''. Sanae gets drunk and fuels the whole thing further as well. Needless to say, HilarityEnsues.

* In ''LightNovel/KonoNakaNiHitoriImoutoGaIru'', several of the girls display this trope towards Shougo, primarily Konoe and Miyabi. In one hilarious incident, both girls insist on training him to "only like girls" after they see [[SweetPollyOliver Mizutani]] trying to climb on top of him in bed [[hottip:*: Mizutani had just learned where babies come from, and was trying to "practice" it with Shougo]] and [[HoYay assuming the worst.]]

* Mizuhara in ''KaraNoShoujo'' has a borderline yandere fixation on Toko, meaning that while Reiji is one of the few people or things she claims not to hate[[hottip:*:Indeed, if you get her sex scene she actually seems attracted to him]] she is always very hostile towards him. [[spoiler:Ends up getting Toko hit by a truck.]]

* In ''Manga/MAR'', Snow gets incredibly jealous when Dorothy starts hitting on Ginta. Her counterpart, Koyuki is also strangely obsessed with him, almost religiously keeping track of her dreams of him and telling his mother of his adventures, and making copies of her school notes for months on end. The anime ending has [[spoiler: Them merging into one being to be with Ginta in the end. The ending is suggestive, but not conclusive. It's a MaybeEverAfter thing.]]

[[spoiler: Towards the end of the series however, Kazuki cuts Daisuke loose after finally learning Hinako's secret and that Daisuke loves her while having known all about it. She's content to just wait for Daisuke and Hinako to break up, a fate that everyone [[BittersweetEnding (up to and including the couple themselves)]] fully expects to eventually happen.]]

* Azaka for Mikiya in ''Literature/KaraNoKyoukai''. Also a version where she fully embraces a relationship with him would be BrotherSisterIncest.

* Lysa Arryn in ''ASongOfIceAndFire'' tried to murder [[spoiler: her own niece Sansa]] because [[spoiler: her husband Littlefinger]] had planted a ForcefulKiss on the latter.

* Evelyn Draper from ''PlayMistyForMe'' combines this with StalkerWithACrush.

* Ron's girlfriend Lavender Brown in ''Literature/HarryPotterAndTheHalfBloodPrince'': In addition to being insufferably cutesy and granting Ron the entirely unwelcome nickname of "Won-Won", she's hyper-jealous of Hermione (admittedly with good cause, as Ron's only really dating her to [[OperationJealousy make Hermione jealous]], anyway).

* Kirino from LightNovel/OreNoImoutoGaKonnaNiKawaiiWakeGaNai acts this way towards her brother. She gets extremely irritated anytime his childhood friend Manami spends time with him. In one incident, Kirino even goes so far as to put porn mags and an {{Eroge}} game on in his room as he's about to bring her to it, which hilariously backfires when [[MegaNekko Manami]] seems more interested that Kyousuke seems to prefer MegaNekko girls (as evidenced by the mags and the girl in the game), than the fact that he's playing eroge games and has porn openly laying about.

*** That was the standard modus operandi, not just for Hera. Since gods under normal circumstances were not allowed or able to really harm each other, they tended to take their anger out on the mortal partners.

* In the ''Manga/OnePiece'' anime, Hancock is jealous of the women in Luffy's crew, and fears that Luffy will choose them over her ([[ChasteHero Not that]] [[PlatonicLifePartners it's likely]] [[NoHuggingNoKissing to happen]]).

* Kagura Sohma from ''FruitsBasket'' is extremely clingy to her cousin Kyo, but doesn't hesitate to get violent. [[spoiler: She ends up being rejected by Kyo for the main character, Tohru.]]

* Momo in ''Manga/{{Saki}}''. After learning that Hisa was now on a FirstNameBasis with [[SchoolgirlLesbians her girlfriend, Yumi]] after the two played Mahjong for most of a night, she spent the rest of the training trip shooting death glares at Hisa whenever they crossed paths.

* [[spoiler: Hanako Ikezawa]] shows some slight tendences of this in KatawaShoujo. She's [[FragileFlower too sweet and shy]] to fit the trope completely, but she is shown to become anxious whenever Hisao looks at or spends time with other girls or women. Her anxiety is somewhat understandable because [[spoiler: despite his feelings for her and them growing close, Hisao doesn't actually show any signs of attraction towards Hanako until the very end -- ironically, ''out of fear of scaring her off''.]] Her anxiety over losing Hisao to someone else ultimately causes her to [[spoiler: initiate sex with him, despite neither of them being emotionally ready for it yet.]]

* Chihiro in ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}'' is a rather minor version of this -- certainly clingier than the other girls, but not nearly as extreme as many others on this page. (Don't tell the fans that, though.) In Persona 3 Portable, ''[[RobotGirl Aigis]]'' becomes this for [[LesYay the Female Protagonist]].

** Taken UpToEleven and PlayedForLaughs in [[Anime/Persona4TheAnimation the anime series]], where at some point Ai confronts Chie over [[spoiler: Kou]]. She then slaps Chie across the face, and the deal ends up in a CatFight where they childishly pull on each other's cheeks.
** Rise may fit this trope as well, as she clings.

* Tsubaki Yayoi from ''VideoGame/BlazBlue'' is a rather good example with a dose of LoveMakesYouEvil. She really does love Jin, but thanks to the manipulation that leads her to believe that a certain best friend of hers ''stole'' her rightful place to be with him, this becomes her driving point to madness.

* Mai Shiranui from FatalFury and TheKingOfFighters. She thankfully doesn't get jealous towards other women, but gets pissy as HELL because her would-be love interest Andy would rather team up with his brother Terry and their common friend Joe than her, which also doubles as her believing he doesn't take her worth and ActionGirl skills seriously enough to become a BattleCouple with her. That's one of the biggest reasons why she ''always'' chases after him.
** Subverted by Athena Asamiya in the KOF: KYO manga. She ''seemed'' to be heading here at first, transferring to Kyo's highschool to be close to him and see the extent of his powers after [[AllAmazonsWantHercules he fought and defeated her in KOF 95]], but she drops it almost immediately after learning that Kyo already has a girlfriend (Yuki) ''and'' after Iori Yagami shows up at the school grounds.

* Akiha of ''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}'' tends to not trust any woman Shiki associates with, but that's normal jealousy, not clinging...except [[spoiler:during Kohaku's storyline, where she deals with Shiki's rejection rather violently. She was, admittedly, [[NotHimself not herself]] at the time.]]
** Outside of the original VisualNovel, however, she more firmly falls into this trope. Shiki's awareness of this seems on-and-off, but it's illustrated rather poignantly in ''Kagetsu Tohya'', when a minor (female) character is reduced to near-incoherent terror at the thought of being seen with Shiki by Akiha. [[RightBehindMe Poor, poor Seo...]]
** In Ciel's route in the VN both Arcueid AND Ciel become this, just to give an idea about how bad Arcueid gets. In this route you learn why Arcueid is so infamous when [[spoiler:she sits back and lets Shiki's [[MindRape mind get raped]] for a while so she can use it as leverage to make him her servant so that he'll have to be by her side for the rest of his life]]. Plus all the evil glares, or what happens if she is rejected (True End).
