Added DiffLines:

** WesternAnimation/OKKOLetsBeHeroes, being one giant love letter to Cartoon Network's old Hanna-Barbera originals, naturally gets in on the action. One episode even brings in WesternAnimation/CaptainPlanet to help stop an eco-terrorist plot, and another shows that Webcomic/RPGWorld takes place in the same universe. Not only does it get to have an overlap with its inspiration studio, but with its own studio's history as well; series creator Ian Jones-Quartey was behind both this and OK K.O.!.

* Since most of Fujio Akatsuka's works take place in and around Akatsuka Ward, characters from his series would pop in and out of each others' stories every once in a while. While Manga/OsomatsuKuns Matsuno brothers and Iyami were frequent targets of this, characters from Tensai Bakabon and Moretsu Ataro often made brief cameos as well.

Added DiffLines:

* KhaosOmega is known to do this to a much larger degree, with numerous versions of certain characters. A massive expansion to the Rainbow Angel harem with each specific sub-group having its own limitations even allows for multiples of them to be paired with Jet, the male leader of the harem in question.

Added DiffLines:

*** Notably, both of them took place primarily in the Suite Life setting and with one of the twin leads wearing a cake when Hannah shows up.

** VideoGame/TalesOfHearts raises this to a gameplay element; scattered through the game are artifacts that let you summon characters from every previous VideoGame/TalesSeries game to perform an attack for you in battle, from Arche to Ruca and Iria, and Caius and Rubia from the otherwise all but disowned Tales of the Tempest. ** VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy appears to indicate that all the FF games are part of the same "multiverse", if rather shakily. Among other things it makes explicit what fans had long speculated: that it really is the same Gilgamesh showing up in half the games of the series, as his exit from FF5 resulted in him dimension-hopping.
