* Phantom Zone escapee Titan in ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' is an alien SuperSoldier and ProudWarriorRaceGuy, portrayed by Wrestling/{{Kane}}. Having arrived on Earth he fights his way through biker bars, and criminal hangouts, eventually participating in underground gladiator-style competitions with Meteor Freaks, before finding the ultimate WorthyOpponent in [[Franchise/{{Superman}} Clark]]. Think of him as a bullet-proof wrestler with an attitude problem and you've got him.

* In the ''DresdenFiles'' novel ''Literature/ColdDays'', Harry finds that [[spoiler: the Winter Mantle]] has a very strong drive for this. In fact, after a major battle, [[spoiler: Karrin]] says he had an erection throughout the battle. Suffice it to say, the change very much scares the person.

* In one of the numerous mods for ''Medieval II: VideoGame/TotalWar'', amongst other new factions, you can play as the Principality of Wallachia. Yes, the same Wallachia that the infamous [[{{Dracula}} Vlad Tepes]] came from. And while you can turn any faction into an [[ArmiesAreEvil Evil Army]] of {{Blood Knight}}s, Wallachia is almost this by default. Their peasants, the supposed CannonFodder, wield axes, have unusually high morale, and may [[LeeroyJenkins charge without orders]]. Their description also notes "they have a taste for fighting". The most awesome peasants in the game.

** It's been lampshaded by Kenpachi, Grimmjow and his own inner hollow that Ichigo is a BloodKnight who is simply living in denial.

** Byakuya eventually learns, to his surprise, that not only does he have a capacity for instigating the madness of battle that is associated with a BloodKnight, he thoroughly enjoys fighting that way, too. He even thanks the opponent that created the insane fight that led to this discovery (right after blasting a hole through said opponent's chest, of course).

** Dorothy Catalonia of ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing Gundam Wing]]'' is a female example, obsessed with the [[WarIsGlorious glory]] of war. She controls Zechs' mobile dolls for him, watches battles with almost orgasmic fervour, and in her final duel with Quatre seems to be actively trying to get him to [[DeathSeeker kill her]]. Possibly subverted by Treize Khushreneda; he claims to be a BloodKnight but it may well have been a pose.

** Nanoha's status as a BloodKnight was only minimal at first, but after the aforementioned training fight scene with Signum [[EvasiveFightThreadEpisode (that had to be stopped due to both of them getting "too into it").]] fans had [[NeverLiveItDown never forgotten about it.]]

** [[SmugSuper Cypha]] [[AntiMagic of]] [[HeroKiller Huckebein]], is even more of a BloodKnight than Signum ever was. To a degree that after the former near killed the lattler in the bloodiest {{curbstomp|Battle}} of this franchise to date, Signum, upon recovering consciousnesses days later, didn't even show any interest in confront Cypha again, [[{{Moe}} preferring to smile and enjoy the company of Agito and Rein]].

** BloodKnight tendencies are an actual trait that generals can pick up, usually as a direct result of personally charging their bodyguards into the fray. It starts with the "Fine With Blood" trait, which gives a bonus to [[TheDreaded dread]], Command, and Morale. It progresses to the "Sanguinary" trait, explicitly describing the general as actively wanting to charge into combat and kill people, increasing Dread and Command, but unnerving the troops and causing a small penalty to Morale. The last level of the trait is [[AxCrazy "Bloodthirsty"]], in which the general is so balls-out demanding for blood and violence that while he gets a big boost to Dread, he suffers a penalty to Command and the troops are so terrified of him that they suffer a huge Morale penalty.

** [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Adon]] is a BloodKnight as well. He enjoys fighting and savagely beating his opponents while attempting to prove to the world that he is the self-proclaimed "god" of Muay Thai.

* Shale of ''VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins'' is a definite BloodKnight. When her true past is revealed as a dwarven woman, she suggests that she would like to do something "girlish" like smashing something soft and squishy and then watch it fountain blood.

* Dwarves in ''VideoGame/DwarfFortress'' periodically receive a happy thought: "He/she took joy in slaughter lately." When people will use their own children as improvised weapons, you know you've got a BloodKnight on your hands.

** Megatron in all his incarnations has grand designs to conquer the universe. Destroying Autobots is his greatest joy. He destroys everything he touches [[LargeHam because everything is food for his hunger. His hunger for power!]] Of course, different incarnations are different when it comes to whether or not he loves to smash. Some versions are patient schemers and some versions love to get into the fight personally and smash some Autobots... and if you're a Decepticon, you'd ''still'' better stay out of his way when he's in this mood. G1 Megatron interestingly goes through several types over the course of his existence: as Megatron he's a campy cartoon villain. Upgraded to Galvatron in TheMovie, he becomes smart, patient, and using his increased power in conjunction with brains. Processor damage results in Galvatron becoming the biggest BloodKnight in franchise history, all about mad schemes and maximum destruction.

* WinstonChurchill himself was a particularly crazy BloodKnight. He and the British chiefs of staff formed [[http://www.cracked.com/article_18722_5-unfought-wars-that-would-have-changed-everything_p2.html Operation Unthinkable on May 22nd 1945]] which would have started a preemptive war by the United States and Great Britain against the Soviet Union. The fact that the Soviets outnumbered Britain and America two to one is the main reason why the plan was abandoned.

* Hitler was probably the most famous BloodKnight of the modern age. He wanted to go to war even in 1938 to take the Sudetenland. There was testimony from surviving Nazis that Hitler loved the idea of enormous battles with enormous casualties even when it made no sense to lose so many German troops needlessly.

* Most gamers, after all 90% of games are about [[GottaKillEmAll killing the enemy]]. Because video games are completely virtual and there are no permanent consequences, they can enjoy fighting without their BloodKnight attitude necessarily translating to real life violence. This is why games like ''VideoGame/CallOfDuty'' and such are so popular, but this large gaming demographic has been criticized for enjoying games that are said to be vapid and simplistic compared to the more "intuitive" ideas.

** It's not just Yujiro that loves to fight, almost every fighter in the series gets a hard on for fighting. Best example of this is when Caveman Pickle was being held at a military base. ''Nearly every major character in the series broke into the base to fight it.''

*** Crusading Christians sort of count as the Crusade was supposed to wash away sin and let you be eligable to heaven, but the old practice of indulgences, buying forgiveness and confessing takes away the exclusivity of entry to heaven by battle.

** Ditto the Greeks with Elysium.
