** Another set of Combiner teams, the Autobot Superion and Decepticon Menasor, also have this going on. As a Combiner, Superion is quite powerful and as his name suggests he holds himself to be quite superior to most everyone, while Menasor is quite the dumb brute. Unlike Computron and Abominus above, Superion is typically shown to get the better of Menasor in most of their fights.

* Film/JurassicWorld: As a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Rexy is one of the biggest and strongest predators in the park, and she rightfully reigns as the ruler of Isla Nublar island. The Indominus Rex is a man-made hybrid dinosaur created specifically to surpass Rexy, in terms of build, strength, intellect, and aggression. Despite being overwhelmed initially when the final battle begins, Rexy is able to adapt, and gets extra angry, and with a little help from the Velociraptor Blue and the Mosasaurus, she pulls out a narrow victory.

* TabletopGame/Warhammer40000: The Kroot creation myth described in the Liber Xenologis sets up this dynamic between the Kroot creator-goddess, Vawk the Huntress, and her enemy, Gmork the Destroyer. The two began battling as soon as they met, as Gmork replied to Vawk's offer of friendship with a savage attack, but neither could best the other: Gmork was ferocious, strong, and steadfast, while Vawk was cunning, agile and fast. They battled in a perfect standstill for ages, as their strengths and weaknesses precisely countered one another, until Vawk chanced to bite her foe and consume some of his strength alongside his blood, breaking the balance and allow her to defeat him.

* Manga/HajimeNoIppo has Ippo's main rival as the Raging Monster, Takeshi Sendo, who relies on brutish slugfests and hit trading along with an intimidating presence to beat people senseless. And on the other spectrum, the Arrogant God, and the closest thing to a BigBad this series has, Ricardo Martinez, who's pretty much made of DefeatingTheUndefeatable, as he's quite possibly the greatest featherweight boxer known to man, using the most precise, technical moves to dismantle his opponents. The first time these two had met in the same ring within a spar, Sendo proceeded to accomplish what was thought to be BeyondTheImpossible; He puts Ricardo Martinez on the canvas for the first time ever.

* In Manga/BakiTheGrappler Yujiro Hamna usually plays this role to various martial artists - while he is intelligent and skilled, he makes point to not use techniques and overwhelm his enemeis with sheer physical power. One notable example could be his fight against Kaku Kaioh, an over hundred years old martial artist, who eschewed physical strength in favor of perfecting his skill and technique. However, the usual scenario is flipped on Yujiro when he faces Pickle rhe Caveman, whose animalistic mind and even greater strength make him more of a Raging Monster and place Yujiro as Arrogant God getting a dent in his ego, especially when he is forced to actually use techyniques to survive Pickle's assault.
