* Fans of ''Film/PitchPerfect'' rabidly ship Creator/AnnaKendrick and Creator/BrittanySnow due to the LesYay between Beca and Chloe. It doesn't help that Anna admitted in an interview that filming the shower scene between Beca and Chloe took so long that she's ''memorized'' Brittany's body.

Same with Calum Worthy and Raini Rodriguez, but not to a big scale like Raura does.

** Despite a 25-year age difference, the off-screen chemistry between Creator/PeterCapaldi and Creator/JennaColeman was so strong, with both openly admitting their friendship for one another and the two often seen hugging and gazing adoringly at each other at public events, stirred the flames of speculation as to whether they might be a real life couple (with the ship name "Colepaldi" coined). It was even mentioned at one point that they casually date together, but they don't want to get further than that, due to some UnfortunateImplications their [[BrotherSisterIncest characters from the show would get involved in]].
* ''Series/{{Glee}}'' is rife with this. There's the popular pairing of Creator/KevinMcHale and Jenna Ushkowitz ([[PortmanteauCoupleName McHalowitz]]), there's the potentially "canon" pairing of Mark Salling and Creator/NayaRivera, there's Creator/CoryMonteith and Creator/LeaMichele shippers, there's people who think Naya Rivera and Creator/HeatherMorris ([[PortmanteauCoupleName HeYa]]) are as close as their characters... * Creator/NoelFielding and his HeterosexualLifePartner Julian Barrat get a ludicrous amount of this, probably due to them being Very touchy feely with each other and the fact that the characters for which they are best known (Howard and Vince from ''Series/TheMightyBoosh'') have a ''crazy'' amount of UnresolvedSexualTension between them.
* ''Series/{{JAG}}'': There was/is a lot of shipping among fans, often in the form of {{fanfiction}}, to different degrees with the two leads: Harm and Mac (or in some cases even the actors).
