Saikyou Juzoku Tensei: Majutsu Otaku no Risoukyou (最強呪族転生～魔術オタクの理想郷～, Reincarnation of Sherman, Strongest Curse Clan Reincarnation, Saikyou Juzoku Tensei: Majutsu Otaku no Utopia) is a Japanese web novel series written by Necoco and adapted into a light novel illustrated by Mika Pikazo. It has 5 volumes, released as of June 15, 2018. The series was later adapted into a manga with illustrations by Asahi Shinomura, and serialized by Comic Earth☆Star with 4 volumes released as of May 25, 2018. Both series have been in a [[SeriesHiatus Hiatus]] since then.

** At the end of ''Resurrection of Goddess Kudor'', Abel fabricates a story about an anomaly that caused the sky to turn red temporarily. Then he names a matter in the sky that refracts the sunlight as '''[[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Rayleigh]]'''. Considering the he was fighting an EldritchAbomination whose mere appearance caused the phenomenon, his past interest in the occult was put to use.

** [[ElixirofLife Amrita]], the elixir made by Alfheim's High-Elves. The name was taken straight from HinduMythology.
** At the end of ''Resurrection of Goddess Kudor'', Abel fabricates a story about an anomaly that caused the sky to turn red temporarily. ** Abel and Mea participate in a monster-thinning mission with the Fage territory's private army, on the account of [[DefeatingTheUndefeatable killing the Dragon Nalgarn]]. Later, we see [[RandomEncounters the army engaging a group of goblins]] while [[PatheticallyWeak Abel have already collapsed from the sun's heat]] with Mea giving him a LapPillow behind the soldiers, with a soldier named [[JerkAss Clark]] complaining about how useless they are. Suddenly, the [[KingMook goblins' leader]] sneaked past the soldiers to attack [[WorfHadTheFlu Abel]] and [[TheChick Mea]]! Mea tries shooting the goblin with arrows, but only manages to hit one of its thighs and he shrugs it off and keeps going towards them. Only for Clark to decapitate it, and [[WhatTheHellHero harshly berates them for putting themselves in danger in the first place]]. Abel [[JerkassHasAPoint does agree that he has a point there]].

* {{Mundangerous}}: [[TheProtagonist Abel Belek]], TheArchmage in ChildMage's clothing, capable of taking down {{evil sorcerer}}s, [[OurDemonsAreDifferent demons]] and other threats that no ordinary adventure would dare fighting... can be incapacitated with the something like the [[SickEpisode common cold or a fever]], which hits him harder thanks to his PatheticallyWeak body. He often jumps to the conclusion that one of his enemies cursed him.

* WouldHurtAChild: To an almost disturbing degree, almost all of Abel's human (or human-like) adversaries have no problem attacking a teenager and actively trying to kill him using direct or indirect methods. [[spoiler: Even a WellIntentionedExtremest like Peter [[JumpingTheSlipperySlope did]] and [[NearVillainVictory came close to]]]]. However, a [[JustifiedTrope justification]] for that comes in the form of them judging Abel to be a [[SpannerInTheWorks dangerous individual]] to their plans, him being in the way, etc. Still ends going badly.. [[SelfFulfillingProphecy for them]]. Also doesn't help that this world (at least the Marren tribe) [[DeliberateValueDissonance considers a 16-years-old as an adult]].

* HiddenVillain: [[spoiler: Count Julem]] reveals himself in the 8th volume of the story. And on the final volume, [[spoiler: [[BigBadDuumvirate his cohorts reveal themselves one by one, in front of Abel]].

** Another one when he was told that [[spoiler: Mea's [[DeathOfAPersonality soul was crushed]] beneath [[DemonicPossession Moebius' soul]]. [[spoiler: It was a [[FakeKillScare lie]]]].

** Abel momentarly suffers one, as he comes to realize that [[spoiler: [[WakeupCallBoss Kudor]], who [[NoSell tanked everything]] he threw at her and [[TheJuggernaut isn't inconvenienced the slightest]], was [[WillfullyWeak holding back on him in their entire fight]]]]! He stops fighting and almost accept his defeat.. but then snaps out of it once [[spoiler: Peter and Zolomonia]] [[GotYouCovered help him]] and hold her down.

* DecoyAntagonist: The members of “Balancer of the Scale of Time”, in “Resurrection of Goddess Kudor”, are just a ContrivedConcidence [[spoiler: to hide [[WellIntentionedExtremist Peter]]'s true intentions]] from Abel.

* BrotherSisterIncest: [[spoiler: The entire Marren Clan is a result of, and practicing this, including Abel and Gizel's parents! But it's implied that some did break the tradition, like Norman Karlco, who stole his then-wife from her brother]].

** Chapter 20 of the manga. The portrait that Mea was looking at in Asshim's library, depict [[spoiler:the Great Goddess Kudor, who will later meet and try to kill Mea, for a good reason]].

* PragmaticVillainy: [[spoiler: [[TheSpock One]] of the {{sole survivor}}s from [[BigBadDuumvirate Count Julem's group]] decides on letting Abel and Mea leave in peace after [[AllForNothing their plan fell apart and three of them were killed]]. With his reasons being that antagonizing Abel any further, even if they succeed in killing him while he's exhausted, [[PyrrhicVillainy would leave them an easy prey to Kudor]]. Instead, they're better off hiding from Kudor and [[LongGame let time deal with Abel]], since something like thousands to ten-thousands years [[LongLived is nothing to them]]]]. [[spoiler: Abel is fine with these terms, even the part where [[SternChase they're playing tag with Kudor]]]].

** That's nothing. See him [[spoiler: operating a [[WaveMotionGun weapon]] to defeat [[FinalBoss Silfhiem]], that could've also '''[[TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt BLEW UP the whole world]]''']]!! His justification:

(Making a [[ScrewYouElves high elf]] fall [[NotTheFallThatKillsYou from large height]] is okay, letting a WellIntentionedExtremist gets his just dessert in a no no, both took his friend hostage and tried to kill him while he's helpless, anyone?)

** [[spoiler: He brings [[MadScientist Penrath]] to the Fage territory after [[DefeatEqualsFriendship defeating him]], and have him [[ReformedVillain join the alchemist division]], despite him being a Levi's HighPriest who tried invading the territory, because he [[CommonalityConnection found a kindred spirit in him]], and Penrath began [[LikeAGodToMe seeing him as a god]]]].
** It gets really ridiculous, [[spoiler: when Abel tries to invoke GoAndSinNoMore, on non other than]] [[spoiler: [[TheMole Shame]] herself]]! [[spoiler: Despite him calling her the one "he hates the most" from [[BigBadDuumvirate Count Julem's group]] for: [[BitchInSheepsClothing tricking and betraying]] him and Mea, kidnapping the latter and [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness leaving the former to be killed]], [[KickTheDog siccing Moebius on him]], etc. Abel doesn't want to kill her, in gratitude to her and her cohorts' plan being the reason he and Mea ever met]]. [[spoiler: It also counts as {{subversion}}, as Abel was trying to [[TalkingYourWayOut dissuade her from killing him]], as they're both exhausted from the FinalBattle]].

* TwoGirlsAndAGuy: In the epilogue, [[spoiler: Abel and Mea are now HappilyMarried and living in their own house in the Marren village... and [[TookALevelInKindness Gizel]] is staying there as well, to take care of the house chores and Mea during the latter's pregnancy. Mea is both [[ClingyJealousGirl irritated]] by her getting touchy-feely with Abel, and creeped out from her [[MyBelovedSmother excessive caring and devotion]]]].

* DarkerAndEdgier: Some of the Light Novel's [[BonusContent short stories]] throws [[TheProtagonist Abel]] and [[{{Sidekick}} Mea]] in rather really dangerous situations the webnovel didn't have, that can induce a lot of AdultFear from the reader. ''The Returning Cold'' has Mea and Abel, the latter [[WorfHadTheFlu bedridden with a sickness]], encountering a WolfInSheepsClothing, who orders his minion to grab Mea while he goes to [[WouldHurtAChild chop her horns]], ''Mea's Present'' has Mea walking into the [[WretchedHive bad part]] of Lomarn city, and gets scammed out of her money and unknowingly [[AttemptedRape set up to be raped]] before [[BigDamnHeroes Abel rescues her]], ''The Queen of Flowers'' has [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Abel shouting]] at Euris to immediately [[ShootTheHostage kill him]], after the titular monster grabbed him and was about to [[ManaDrain drain magic from him]] and grow more powerful, etc.

Unfortunately for him, [[IWillFindYou she doesn't take a no for an answer]].
