Saikyou Juzoku Tensei: Majutsu Otaku no Risoukyou (最強呪族転生～魔術オタクの理想郷～, Reincarnation of Sherman, Strongest Curse Clan Reincarnation, Saikyou Juzoku Tensei: Majutsu Otaku no Utopia) is a Japanese web novel series written by Necoco and adapted into a light novel illustrated by Mika Pikazo. It has 5 volumes, released as of June 15, 2018. The series was later adapted into a manga with illustrations by Asahi Shinomura, and serialized by Comic Earth☆Star. Both series have been in a [[SeriesHiatus Hiatus]] since May 25, 2018, until the manga was resumed on August 10, 2023. The manga has 5 volumes released as of February 9, 2024.

* BrotherSisterIncest: The entire Marren Clan is a result of, and practicing this, including Abel and Gizel's parents! But it's implied that some did break the tradition, like Norman Karlco, who stole his then-wife from her brother.

* FatherIWantToMarryMyBrother: Invoked by Zelrut, Abel's father, with Gizel. Leaving her in Abel's care whenever he wanted them to grow closer. Her mother even [[spoiler:told Gizel she'd marry her brother when she was four!]]

* OriginsEpisode: "A Certain Story of the Doom Tribe's Past", a set of chapters exploring Mea's birth, her [[DarkAndTroubledPast childhood]], [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer life in the Doom tribe]] and ending with her [[TheRunaway leaving the settlement]] on James's carriage.

* TiredOfRunning: While Gizel is chasing after them, Mea suggests that Abel should stop running and instead confront his sister. Telling him that [[spoiler: since he [[RelationshipUpgrade confessed his feelings to her]], she wants to see him let his sister down once and for all]]. She even goes to confront Gizel herself when Abel chickened out.

* {{Tsundere}}: Firo, and her [[GenerationXerox grandfather]] the Chieftain of the Marren clan.
* TwoGirlsAndAGuy: In the epilogue, [[spoiler: Abel and Mea are now HappilyMarried and living in their own house in the Marren village... and [[TookALevelInKindness Gizel]] is staying there as well, to [[TheCaretaker take care of the house chores and Mea]] during the latter's pregnancy. Mea is both [[ClingyJealousGirl irritated]] by her getting touchy-feely with Abel, and creeped out from her [[MyBelovedSmother excessive caring and devotion]]]].

* WhatIf: "If the Carriage Didn't Come", an extra story in the Light Novel, that shows what would've happened to Abel if James's carriage didn't arrive so he could hitch a ride. It quickly develops to FromBadToWorse, becoming a FateWorseThanDeath, [[spoiler: but turns out to be a CatapultNightmare for poor Abel]]. Said story was adapted into the manga.

* {{Yandere}}: One of the constantly looming threats to Abel's life in the new world is [[LittleSisterHeroine his sister Gizel]]. He had to run away from the Marren village to avoid being [[ArrangedMarriage forced into marriage with her]] by their parents and the tribe. Unfortunately for him, [[IWillFindYou she doesn't take a no for an answer]].

* {{Filler}}: {{Played with}} the short stories. Some of them don't affect the main novel, some do bring a villain from a previous short story (e.g. ''Mea's Present'' refers to ''Returning Cold''), and some serve as an AdaptationExpansion (e.g. ''Gizel and the Evil Spirit'').

* PillarOfLight: A variant in the form of a ball of light happens on Chapter 22, after Mea's magic leaves Abel's sleeping body and the mansion they're sleeping in. [[spoiler: Said ball of light ends up [[SoMuchForStealth alerting both Melzef and Gizel to their location]]. Whoops]].

* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: The Doom clan considers the [[BodytoJewel magic crystal on the forehead]] the symbol and pride of their tribe. Losing it is "more serious than a noticeable scar in the face", and who did lose theirs will [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer be labeled 'stoneless', looked down upon and ostracized]]. [[spoiler: Even the Chief's daughter isn't safe]].

* WhamEpisode: [[spoiler: "The Count". All of "The Count"]].

* DarkerAndEdgier: Some of the Light Novel's [[BonusContent short stories]] throws [[TheProtagonist Abel]] and [[{{Sidekick}} Mea]] in rather really dangerous situations the webnovel didn't have. ''The Returning Cold'' has Mea and Abel, the latter [[WorfHadTheFlu bedridden with a sickness]], encountering a WolfInSheepsClothing, who orders his minion to grab Mea while he goes to [[WouldHurtAChild chop her horns]], ''Mea's Present'' has Mea walking into the [[WretchedHive bad part]] of Lomarn city, and gets scammed out of her money and unknowingly [[AttemptedRape set up to be raped]] before [[BigDamnHeroes Abel rescues her]], ''The Queen of Flowers'' has [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Abel shouting]] at Euris to immediately [[ShootTheHostage kill him]], after the titular monster grabbed him and was about to [[ManaDrain drain magic from him]] and grow more powerful, etc.

* AngryCheekPufff: Zolomonia puffs up her cheeks in anger when Peter asks her about Abel, to illustrate how much she still thinks about him despite her denying him being her 'business'.

* TheWorfEffect: Happens to [[spoiler: Abel himself]] during his fight with [[spoiler: Melzef]] in the manga!! The fight catches the former off guard as the latter {{nosell}}s all what he threw at him, and ends up [[spoiler: destroying [[SacrificialLion Asura 5000]] with ease]]!!

* MagicalForeignWords: All the spells' chants in the webnovel's original website are written in Bengali.

* AdaptationDeviation: Just after the manga began adapting Volume 4 of the novel, the Doom tribe's search party suddenly shows up demanding Mea back, [[spoiler: 5 volumes too early than they are supposed to]].

* WorthlessCurrency: Before leaving the village, Abel took with him a bag of his high-quality incense-smoke leaves to exchange for money, only to learn that the kingdom has a [[DrugsAreBad ban on drugs]]. [[spoiler: Later, the Marren search party reach the city he was in, get arrested, and released after getting their stash confiscated]].

* AbledInTheAdaptation: Mea in the webnovel is incapable ogf using magic, and Abel did confirm she has zero magic in her. Chapter 22 shows some magic emitted from her forehead in her sleep, that goes to heal Abel from a cold he suffered, among other things..

** In Kudor's Great Temple, [[spoiler: [[TheFarmerAndTheViper Peter and Myunhi betray Abel]] and capture him and Mea, [[HostageSituation using the latter as a hostage]], but hold off on killing them to force Abel to check for any last-minute surprises or traps, even going far to resurrect the [[SealedGoodInACan sleeping Goddess herself]] and using her massive tentacles to [[DarkestHour kill the helpless kid]], rather than say... [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim offing him]] with their own hands]]. [[spoiler: It get {{deconstructed}} as Kudor [[ItCanThink breaks free from Peter's control]] before Abel comes to any harm, and [[LaserGuidedKarma gives Peter and Myunhi their just dessert]], then {{reconstructed}} as Abel [[SaveTheVillain saves them]] from the enraged goddess]]. Then it gets really out of hand when [[spoiler: [[ClimaxBoss Kudor goes on a rampage]], with Abel and Peter forced into an EnemyMine]].

* {{Divine Conflict}}: The age of Mythology ended when the [[GoodIsNotNice Goddess Kudor]] defeated the [[JerkassGods four elemental gods]].
