An ongoing story chronicling the AdventureSeries of a SuperTeam Written by Blade100, the story of Calling All Heroes is Fictionpress' own version of the ComicBook/TheAvengers and Franchise/JusticeLeagueOfAmerica. The story has a group of six super powered beings, one who already has his own established continuity and two more with their continuities created after the creation of the story, teaming up to face a BigBad from another dimension. From there, the story is turned into an ever growing world, with {{Loads and Loads of Characters}}. What makes this story Fictionpress' own Super Team is the fact that you can submit superheroes, heroines, and villains to join the cast of characters.

* BiTheWay: WordOfGod states that Pulse is bisexual.
** As is Captain Justice, though he is more of a AnythingThatMoves bisexual.

* FiveBadBand: For the first arc, we have...
** BigBad: Oude Rode Ogen. He's also part EvilGenius
** TheDragon and DarkChick: Amazon, Ogen's right hand Nazi dominatrix.
** TheBrute: Bruiser, the Australian bodybuilder of evil...mate.
** EvilGenius: The second smartest and creator of the Dimensional Breaker, A.P.K.O. the robot.

* {{Expy}}: Captain Justice and {{Deadpool}}. Both are Fourth Wall breaking guys with healing factors who never shut up. Major differences between the two are that Cap has a ThouShallNotKill rule, no weapons, and is not as good of a fighter as his more violent counterpart.

* TakeThat: The world of Ogen and Captain Justice is obviously inspired by {{Wanted}} and Gunner is inspired by Wesley Gibbson. Gunner gets his butt kicked by Captain.

* AngstWhatAngst: Kid Chimera shows sadness when he realizes [[spoiler: his father is dead]] but other than that he seems pretty cool with the fact he now looks part monkey, lizard, and ape. Could be due to the fact that he now gets to hang out with the world's greatest superheroes.
* BadassNormal: Archangel embodies this.

* CompleteMonster: Oooh boy. [[spoiler: Ogen killed hundreds of heroes and has turned his universe into a CrapsackWorld]] and [[spoiler: Bruiser raped TAG One's girlfriend before killing her]].

* HighOctaneNightmareFuel: Every and all heroes, all those people who fought for truth and justice...are dead. Tortured, raped, beaten, broken, and dead. Out of hundreds of heroes, very few are alive. Those that are alive are too broken and afraid to do anything.

* MomentOfAwesome: Captain Justice beats up the first arc's BigBad, while declaring RealLife moments in time where humans did heroic things. Doubles as a HeartwarmingMoments.
