The story is about a man named Lord Edward Blackwood who lost his wife Eleanor Blackwood and he is plagued by visions of his dead wife and then he was sent to a mental hospital where he was submitted to terrifying treatments like electroshock therapy, lobotomies, forced drugging, bloodletting by leeches and ice baths. Then after his "treatments" , his hallucinations of his dead wife revealed that she is actually the personification of his inner demons so he meditated and he embraced his inner demons in a healthy way and he transformed his inner demons into his inner light.
