* HandWave: On occasion, when they bother with roleplaying. In their ''New Vegas'' playthrough, the ability to save scum is sometimes referred to as time travel, and in the ''VideoGame/IronLung'' one-shot video, when the player character is stuck alone in a submarine, they claim that he's talking with ''the lightbulb''.

* MoodWhiplash: The funeral speech in ''Frontier'' - first, Zach makes an inappropriate ProductPlacement joke about condoms, then, after a test card, he delivers a somber and bitter speech about how war is hell and the dead in front of him died for nothing.

* CoolGuns: Various guns crop up in the Fallout New Vegas episodes, and Zach is always quick to provide a few factoids about them.
