* ''WesternAnimation/RandomCartoons'': Gaillard in the short "6 Monsters" is shown to be quite a prick. One scene has him offer to help Cathy with her math solely as an excuse to [[EnemyEarsYourLunch devour her lunch in front of her]], while another has him underhandedly manipulate Buck into paying $50 for bottled water.

** Almost ''every'' antagonist is a jerk to some extent. Some examples include [[FetishizedAbuser Mad Dog]], [[SerialKiller Katz]], [[AbusiveParents Eustace's mother]] and [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter brother]], [[BitchInSheepsClothing The Precious Lovable Adorable Ducking]], and [[InsufferableGenius Di Lung]].

** Almost ''every'' antagonist is a jerk to some extent. Some examples include [[BastardBoyfriend Mad Dog]], [[SerialKiller Katz]], [[AbusiveParents Eustace's mother]] and [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter brother]], [[BitchInSheepsClothing The Precious Lovable Adorable Ducking]], and [[InsufferableGenius Di Lung]].

** Gumball himself can be this at times, especially after Season 1, but he is usually a JerkWithAHeartOfGold.

** Rick Sanchez is often seen as a man who is selfish and wiling to cause destruction for his own self-benefit. He is a bad influence on his grandson Morty and is willing to slap an innocent alien in the face and make that alien cry for no reason at all, which is exactly what he did in the pilot episode. His criminal record is vast with it consisting of him enjoying watching people kill each other for his amusement, putting an entire dimension into an apocalypse and refusing to fix it all while creating a replacement dimension for him and Morty to move into all because he was too lazy to fix the situation.

** Jerry Smith is in these levels as well. He is shown to be mean towards dogs, especially towards Morty's dog Snuffles and also made a huge scene where he tried to weasel his way out of donating his private parts to an alien civil rights leader who needed them for a new heart and after that, Jerry hypocritically changed his mind and held an entire room filled with surgeons hostage so he could force them to remove his private parts, which was unsuccessful.

* ''WesternAnimation/DanVs'': Dan, [[FunTShirt to a point where he even has the word "jerk" written on the front of his shirt.]] Sometimes the targets of his vengeance are even worse jerks, so much so that Dan looks ''[[HeroicComedicSociopath heroic]]'' in comparison, but other times, they're innocent people who accidentally set him off, and he makes no distinction between the two.

** Dutchess is very thankless, demanding, and arrogant, wanting everything her way.

* ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'':
** Mr. Krabs has wrecked [=SpongeBob=]'s house, eaten him when he was shipped back home after a failed attempt to infiltrate Pearl's slumber party, tried to tear a guy's arm off over a ''penny'', stole a $1.25 secret ingredient and tried to frame [=SpongeBob=] for it, and sold [=SpongeBob=]'s soul to the Flying Dutchman for 62 cents after [=SpongeBob=] stood up for him. Even ''[[EveryoneHasStandards Squidward]]'', who hates [=SpongeBob=] enough to let it happen, called him out on the last one, not believing that Mr. Krabs could be ''THAT'' big of a Jerkass, and Krabs himself realizes he went too far there and throws the money back. It only gets worse as the seasons go on where Krabs does anything in his power to get money even if it involves causing extreme misfortune for others ("The Krabby Kronicle" and "The Krusty Sponge" are prime examples of this) and let's not even get started on what [[KnightTemplar Krabs does to Plankton in the later seasons]]. For the most part, the callousness of Mr. Krabs's and everyone else's character (everyone is a Jerkass at times) is a case of DependingOnTheWriter; they can shift back to their more likable early characterizations at times, though when they play this trope, they play it ''very straight''. For example, in "[=SpongeBob=], You're Fired", he fired [=SpongeBob=] (who's his best employee) because it would save him 5 cents.
** Squilliam is Squidward without his good traits. He takes pride in trying to humiliate Squidward, only to be HoistByHisOwnPetard.
** Plankton, when he's the main villain, will be as mean as he is evil. Best exemplified in "Walking Small", where he decides to mold [=SpongeBob=] into one in order to get rid of everyone else at the beach (since he's too small to do it himself) so that he can build the Chum Bucket Mega Bucket.
** A few other side characters, like Bubble Bass from the episode, "Pickles" where he makes [=SpongeBob=] think he forgot to put pickles on his Krabby Patty, thus getting a refund from Mr. Krabs, and breaking [=SpongeBob=]. Also in "Moving Bubble Bass" where he tricks [=Spongebob=] and Patrick into moving all of his possessions out of his mother's house by promising them lunch in return, and for no other reason than because he's too lazy to move his stuff himself.
** Kevin C. Cucumber from the episode, "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic"; he's the leader of the Jelly Spotters, a group of jellyfish enthusiasts, and he looks down on [=SpongeBob=], even asking him to perform some "tests" because he wants to see [=SpongeBob=] hurt himself.
** Flats the Flounder from the episode "The Bully" is hellbent on "kicking [=SpongeBob=]'s butt", even after [=SpongeBob=] saves his life via CPR and takes him to the hospital after an accident. He seems to have quite the reputation among the people that know him, as even his father is afraid of his threats.
** The bus driver from "Rock Bottom", who throws [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick off his bus in Rock Bottom when they need his help to get back home. And this all because he had enough of being hit with [=SpongeBob's=] balloon.
*** Also in "Rock Bottom" is the one-eyed thing who outright steals [=SpongeBob=]'s Kelp Nougat Crunch bar. [[KarmaHoudini He never gets punished for it]]!
** Harold Bill Reginald Scott, a background character, pretty much acts like this. He is very ill-tempered and cynical, frequently hostile towards the other characters, and can definitely be unpleasant and rude.
** All of the incidentals can be this, including Scooter, the nicest incidental.
* ''WesternAnimation/SquirrelBoy'':
** Kyle and Salty Mike. They are a duo of bullies who harass and torment Andy and Rodney for no apparent reason (or at least no apparent good reason), in addition to vandalizing other people's property and whatnot. They ''never'' learn anything and barely have any PetTheDog moments (or at least Kyle barely has any).
** Rodney himself (being an {{Expy}} of [[WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends Bloo]]) isn't exactly a saint, being a textbook example of WithFriendsLikeThese.
* Like the live-action films, ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'' gives some rather mean characters.
** The Season 1 episode, "Trespass", gives us Chairman Chi Cho, the greedy chairman of Pantora who doesn't like being reasonable with Talz, [[WellIntentionedExtremist considering the moon the talz live on Pantoran territory]], and declares war on them and claims it a Pantoran exclusive internal affair, not allowing Obi-Wan Kenobi to participate in the negotiations.

** Tarkin was still a {{Jerkass}} in the ''Clone Wars'' series as well.
** Jedi General Pong Krell in the Umbarra Arc in Season Four. [[spoiler: It turns out his jerk personality was intentional, as he was planning to join Count Dooku and the CIS after sabotaging the Republic effort on Umbarra]].
** [[spoiler: [[FaceHeelTurn Barriss Offee]]]] turns into one in the Season Five finale episodes, where she bombed the Jedi Temple and framed her best friend, Ahsoka Tano, for murdering her accomplice, Letta Turmond.

* ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'':
** Michigan J. Frog has been a Jerkass for his entire existence, screwing around with people by singing and dancing, and then making them look crazy by acting like a normal frog when they try to get other people to see it. Later on, his Jerkass tendencies got even stronger in ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'', where he taunts (in song) a turtle trying to get away from [[AndCallHimGeorge Elmyra]], and as mascot for Creator/TheWB, where, in early promos, he'd straight up [[TakeThatAudience insult the viewers]] while praising the WB as an escape from their crappy lives. [[ComedicSociopathy And he's hilarious]].
** Daffy Duck, especially after his {{Flanderization}} into a ButtMonkey and {{Narcissist}}. This, however, doesn't make him any less entertaining to watch.
** Foghorn Leghorn can be the very picture of Jerkassery, as a [[NoIndoorVoice loudmouthed]] [[ThePrankster prankster]]. But like Daffy, he's still fun to watch.
** Yosemite Sam. He was created largely to get the audience to root for Bugs.
** Plenty of one/two shot characters are this, too. Ali Bama, Giovanni Jones, Bruno The Bear, and Hercules The Construction Worker to name a few.
** The mouse in ''WesternAnimation/CannedFeud'', who spends the entire short tormenting Sylvester unprovoked, with the intention of making the cat starve.
** From the Three Bears shorts, we have Papa Bear. On top of having a [[HairTriggerTemper volcanic temper]], he's highly abusive towards his son, Junyer.
** Shep from ''Fresh Airedale'' is a BitchInSheepsClothing that tricks his owner into giving him extra meals, pins all of his actions on the cat, allows a burglar to break into the house in exchange for a bone (then pretends to have fended him off when it’s the ''cat'' that drove him away), and [[spoiler:becomes a VillainWithGoodPublicity KarmaHoudini at the end, having a parade thrown for him, much to the cat’s chagrin]].
** This interpretation of Peter Rabbit in ''Country Boy''. He’s a brat who disrespects his mother, skips school, steals a farmer’s crops, then swipes his lawnmower for a quick getaway, all the while taunting him. He’s more of a JerkWithAHeartOfGold in ''My Green Fedora''.

** Gumball himself can be this at times, especially after Season 1, when he is, he is a self-centered jerk, but he is usually a JerkWithAHeartOfGold.

** People such as James, Sir Handel, and Duncan are seen as rude, arrogant, condescending, and ill-behaved, often seen as the ones insulting the nicer and sympathetic engines having a difficult situation. They will often face LaserGuidedKarma which will [[BreakTheHaughty damage their prideful attitudes]] as well as earning a stern talking to from The Fat Controller for their behavior, which will have them learn their lessons in the end, [[AesopAmnesia at least for a while.]]

** Oddly enough, the other jerkasses have been developed further as well. Upon his banishment and losing his eyes, Xergiok reinvented himself and became a peace-loving friend of the birds. He briefly went back to his old, spanking ways before realizing that his bird friends were being hurt in the process. Xergiok ultimately decided to stay on the side of good. Magic Man, while still a jerkass, apparently went evil after losing [[LoveMakesYouEvil the love of his life]]. Lemongrab redeemed himself after Bubblegum created Lemongrab 2, finally having someone who understood him. Then ''both'' Lemongrabs tried to use the Candy Kingdom [[ItMakesSenseInContext to create more lemon people.]] After that mess cleared up, it looked like all the lemon people would stay on the straight and narrow... [[spoiler: before Lemongrab 1 became more and more corrupt until he goes full on dictator on the lemon people. Even Lemongrab 2 ends up being ''eaten alive.'']]

* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'': Detective Bullock seemed rough around the edges, and his main claim to fame was merely distrusting Batman. Then he got his DayInTheLimelight and spent it proving that he was nothing short of an ''asshole''. A reporter offered him help figuring out who tried to kill him, but had work to do and asked him to wait a half hour before she showed him whatever he needed to see. Bullock decides to [[KickTheDog break into her office and dig through the files like a burglar]] instead of just waiting like he agreed to. It's even because of his obnoxious behaviour (and not, as he thought, by simply being a cop) that his life gets targeted ([[spoiler: his landlord couldn't stand him anymore]]) but he gains some sympathy by being genuinely thankful to Batman for saving his life despite his strong dislike for him. So yeah, it's hard to earn his respect but if you do, he's at least tolerable: just ask Montoya, Gordon and his daughter who he is [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold downright nice to]].

** Squilliam is Squidward with his good traits. He takes pride in trying to humiliate Squidward, only to be HoistByHisOwnPetard.

** Jimmy Pesto, Bob's business rival and the owner of a pizzeria where his food is subpar at best. He's not really shown to have any redeeming qualities. Along with antagonizing Bob, he is generally shown to be a bad person. In fact in "The Oeder Games", he was still considering throwing a balloon at Bob (doing so would hike up the latter's rent by $50), but had to be forced by the mob to do so.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls2016'': Buttercup ''really'' lives up to the first four letters[[note]][[DontExplainTheJoke B-U-T-T]][[/note]] of her name in [[AdaptationalJerkass this series]]. She bullies her sisters, is very standoffish and egotistical, aND is overall more selfish than her original counterpart.

** King Bob slipped into this territory on occasion, most notably in "The Rules" and "Pharaoh Bob".

** Bendy is the worst. He's a huge jerk who makes Bloo and his friends lives a living hell, and he [[KarmaHoudini doesn't get punished]] for his actions, lying to Frankie and Herriman.

* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam'': In most episodes, June can be one of these. She's usually bossy, demanding, and pretty nasty to Henry AKA ''her best friend''.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'': Tarrlok and Tahno. Tarrlok is cruel, [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]] and [[spoiler:uses his bloodbending to capture Korra and put her in a box.]] Tahno is an [[JerkJock arrogant pro-bending champion]] who [[spoiler: cheats his way to victory in the pro-bending final.]]

** Hugh Test, the patriarch of the house, is by far the worst the show has to offer. He's cruel, [[TheScrooge cheap]], [[AbusiveParents abusive, and would ground his kids for life at the drop of a hat]], often for no reason whatsoever.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Johnny Test}}'': it's hard not to list a character that isn't a complete jerk.
** The eponymous Johnny Test(especially after season one) is selfish, rude, bratty, smug, manipulative, narcissistic, just to name a few.
** His sisters Susan and Mary count as well, being smug geniuses, and always using there brother as a guinea pig for there life threatening experiments, never even caring if he survives there tests or not.
** Hugh Test, the patriarch of the house is by far the worst the show has to offer. He's cruel, cheap, abusive and would ground his kids for life at the drop of a hat, often for no reason what so ever.
* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam!'': In most episodes, June can be one of these. She's usually bossy, demanding, and pretty nasty to Henry AKA ''her best friend''.

** Squilliam is a bigger example. He's Squidward without his redeeming qualities. He makes Squidward look like a saint. Squilliam takes pride in trying to humiliate Squidward, only to be HoistByHisOwnPetard.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Ultimate Spider-Man}}'': Nova. Most of the cast can be pretty bad, but Nova is ridiculously overboard in this respect, being an arrogant, cocky bastard who has a huge dislike of Spider-Man and uses any chance he can to put him down.

** His sisters Susan and Mary count as well, being [[Insufferable Genius]], and always using there brother as a guinea pig for there life threatening experiments, never even caring if he survives there tests or not.

* ''WesternAnimation/DungeonsAndDragons'': Eric spent most of the series wavering between {{jerkass}} and JerkWithAHeartOfGold. He frequently got the team into trouble through his whining and attempts to become the leader. He once left them entirely to marry a beautiful queen, though he came back eventually... but only after learning his bride-to-be was really a hideous monster in disguise. At the same time, he was the only character to successfully guilt trip DungeonMaster over his gratuitously enigmatic ways, and at some point he was fully ready to make a HeroicSacrifice to send his friends home and battle [[BigBad Venger]].

* ''WesternAnimation/ThomasTheTankEngine'':

* ''WesternAnimation/Castlevania2017'': Everything the Bishop says is either hypocrisy, cruelty, or self-deluded arrogant prattling. He enjoys throwing his weight around, smirking as he gloats about how much the he controls the people through his church. "I will be the church..." indeed.
